Rustic and cozy yurt on a farm

Welcome to Bald Mountain Farm, a 28 acre property with pasture, woods, a heritage apple orchard, a wild blueberry patch, ponds and streams.
Guests are free to explore our land and hang out with our animals.
The animals on site: horses, goats, turkeys, geese, peafowls, ducks and chickens.

We offer free seasonal fruit picking and sell a few farm products:
Fresh farm eggs
Jams
Sourdough bread (requires advance notice)

The yurt boasts a double bed, a woodstove, a hotplate with pots pans and utensils to cook with.
It is situated about 150 yards from the parking area.
A woostove stands in the middle for cooler nights: wood, kindling and matches are provided.
There is NO RUNNING WATER: no shower. We provide drinking water and there is a little pedal sink with a water tank for dishes or washing up. A dry compost toilet is right behing the yurt.
In the spring, the path to the yurt can get really muddy with the rain and snow melt.

This is a unique accomodation featuring raw wood, we therefore ask that no product be sprayed inside, unless it is the fire extinguisher.
