"We stayed a night here en route to Cornwall for a golfing trip. We loved it. It is a Grade A hotel, super convenient as off the motorway but not loud at all. And a fantastic top floor bar and wonderful breakfast buffet. Lovely staff too. Will definitely stay again. "

"Lovely clean room, which overlooked the nearby Bickleigh bridge. The addition of a pedestal fan in the room, was much appreciated. Very relaxing atmosphere, the breakfast (not included in our room rate) offered great choice, and was plentiful. We booked a table at the restaurant twice during our stay. There was a good selection of typical pub grub available. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. My personal favourite was a dessert of Lemon tart with ice cream - which I would definitely have again. "

"Overnight stop. We checked in late at about midnight and the receptionist was very helpful. All the staff were friendly and attentive during our stay. The only minor criticism is that the bed could have been a little better but all the bed linen was lovely "
