Detached chalet in Hohentauern with sauna

This beautiful detached chalet for a maximum of 6 people is located in a complex (Almdorf) with several chalets in the middle of the village of Hohentauern in Styria (snow-sure altitude 1,275 m) and practically directly at the ski lift.

The wooden chalet offers a cozy living room, an open kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, washing machine and an infrared sauna. The chalet faces south so it has sun all day long. From the living room and the various terraces there are beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape, the ski lift and the village.

In winter, Styria turns into Austria's "white heart" with beautiful ski resorts. In summer it is particularly known for its lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 sunny days a year and the snow-sure ski area Kreischberg / Murau ensure a perfect holiday environment in all seasons. The Kreischberg / Murau ski area extends to the neighboring Rosenkranzhöhe and offers a total of 42 kilometers of slopes.

The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only 300m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.

The reception in the Almdorf can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays.

Sehr erholsamer und entspannter Urlaub, wirklich ein Traumobjekt in wunderschöner Lage.
Wir haben diese Unterkunft spontan für unseren Rückweg vom Urlaub aus Split gebucht, um die lange Rückfahrt etwas zu entzerren. Wir hätten nie gedacht, dass die 5 Tage hier mehr Entspannung und Erholung bedeuten als der eigentliche Urlaub. Das Chalet ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und wohnlich eingerichtet, zudem war es sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und doch ist man überall in kurzer Zeit, ob zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Vriendelijke welkomst. Prachtig huisje, heel gezellig en sfeervol. In de keuken alles wat je nodig hebt, ook qua servies en kookgerei. Geweldig uitzicht, behulpzame vrouw bij de receptie. Groot terras, zowel boven als beneden. In de omgeving genoeg te doen: uitstapjes naar Graz en Liezen zijn de moeite waard. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke, ontspannen vakantie gehad!

Prachtig huis
Wij verbleven van 20 tot en met 25 oktober in dit vakantiehuis. Alles was zoals op de foto's. Een heerlijk huis en een onwijs mooie omgeving. Mensen erg vriendelijk. We hebben het heel er naar onze zin gehad en voelden ons thuis.

Es ist wirklich ein schönes Ferienhaus inmitten eines Ferienhausdorfs! Es ist gut ausgestattet....nur die Qualität der Kopfkissen ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, aber da wir mittlerweile immer unsere eigenen dabei haben war es für uns nicht so schlimm.... das Restaurant Passhöhe (wo auch die Schlüsselübergabe stattfindet) ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Wir hatten auch das Glück an einer Jodelwanderung (für Anfänger) teilzunehmen! Das war großartig!!! Auf jeden Fall absolut zu empfehlen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Steiermark und in dem Haus!

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de beheerders bij hotel Passhöhe.. Het chalet wat wij hadden gehuurd was prachtig, zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het enige minpuntje is dat een van de slaapkamers boven aan de kleine kant is en het stapelbed in deze kamer te krap is als je met grotere kinderen reist. De omgeving van het chaletpark is prachtig en heerlijk rustig. Vanuit het huis had je een adembenemend mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Het dorp Hohentauern is klein maar biedt wel voorzieningen zoals een kleine supermarkt, toeristenbureau en restaurants. In hotel Passhöhe kan men voor een redelijke prijs heerlijk eten. Vanuit het chaletpark zijn prachtige wandelingen in de mooie natuur te maken en ook zijn er genoeg leuke uitstapjes te maken in de omgeving. Met name de Wimpfelwanderweg in Rachau waarbij je op 30 meter hoogte tussen de boomtoppen loopt is een aanrader door de prachtige vergezichten.

Sehr Schönes Kleines Dorf
Wir haben unseren Urlaub zum Zeitpunkt des Ausnahmezustandes verbracht. Wir müssen sagen uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Leider wurde in den Medien einigens schlimmer dargestellt als es war. Wir hatten alles was man benötigt. Leider waren aufgrund der Wetterlage nicht alle Aktivitäten möglich (Eisbahn und Rodelbahnen waren nicht geräumt oder prepariert) ABER trozdem war es für uns ein toller Urlaub und vorallem ein sehr tolles Haus mit toller lage. Das Essen im Hotel Passhöhe war sehr zu empfehlen (viele Grüße an den netten Koch). Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Wij zijn in de herfstvakantie aangekomen.Mooie omgeving, klein dorpje, vertier moet je in de iets verdere omgeving zoeken.. Prachtig chalet met alles erop en eraan. Bungalowparkje in aanbouw. Aanrader om even helemaal tot rust te komen.

Die Schlüssel- und Hausübergabe verlief unkompliziert und schnell. Wir haben alles erklärt bekommen und es stand jederzeit jemand zur Verfügung, der bei Fragen weitergeholfen hat. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Hohentauern ist ein kleiner Ort, der Ruhe und Erholung bietet. Es gibt viele schöne Wanderwege und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner und sehr erholsamer Urlaub.
