"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"The location was close to town but yet far enough away to be peaceful. We loved the animals so close by!! The house and the location are beautiful. The house was clean and well kept. "The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"Wir waren mit 11 Personen in dem wirklich sehr schönen Haus, welches an einem Berghang liegt mit toller Aussicht auf St. Blasien. Der Schlüssel für das Haus war im Tresor an der Tür und als wir das Haus aufgeschlossen haben war der erste Wow-Moment da. "What an amazing stay we had! All the modern amenities within a cozy and private cabin. Perfect location for hiking and exploring the surrounding trails and towns. Martin and Petra could not have been more gracious hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had everything we might need. Already looking forward to our next visit! "Die Betten (Schrankbett) waren mit insgesamt 1,60 m Breite für ein älteres Ehepaar sehr schmal. Der Wasserkran in der Küche an der Spüle war nicht gut angeschraubt und wackelte sehr stark. Eine Tür am Unterschrank der Spüle war defekt und fiel fast raus. Ansonsten lag die Wohnung sehr zentral und hatte einen großen Balkon."

"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll einherichteten und mehr als überdurchschnittlich ausgestattetem Haus. Die Gastgeber haben sich unheimlich gut um uns gekümmert. "This property has to offer one of the most relaxing holidays you could ever hope for. It is ideally situated for visiting The Black Forest, Switzerland and the Alsace Wine Route. "… bekommt man in Hartschwand (Görwihl). Das Ferienhaus bietet alles was man braucht und es lädt zum Entspannen ein. Dass es kein WLAN gibt und man für mobiles Internet drei Minuten auf den nächsten Hügel laufen muss, ist zunächst lästig, schließlich aber akzeptabel und hat niemandem von uns geschadet, sondern vielmehr den Austausch miteinander gefördert. Die nette Nachbarin ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt!"

"Lovely apartment on the ground floor. Good base for visiting the Black Forest. Just wish we had spent more time in the area. Carolin great in communicating with us and available when needed. Washer and dryer are not in the apartment, but our laundry was washed and dried for us. Would highly recommend staying here."

"We spent a magical Thanksgiving holiday here. The home is very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space for large families or a big group of friends. The location is in a beautiful part of the Black Forest with stunning views, hiking trails and outdoor activities close by. Stefanie and Dominik are wonderful hosts and kept great communication. "The apartment was clean and practical with everything we needed. Only two minor points: the pillows are low quality and very thin, and the main ceiling light in our room didn't work, even after I asked reception to check it and replace the light bulb if necessary. But overall a pleasant and comfortable stay and very convenient for the tram into town, supermarkets etc."
