"The property was in a beautiful area with a great view of Neuschwanstein and a short drive to the parking for both Hohenschwangau and Neuschwantein Castles. "This hotel is listed in Expedia as "Alpenmotel Sauling". The hardest part was finding it. We followed Google Maps to the location but could not find "Alpenmotel" on any building or sign. "Four of us stayed in two rooms and we all rate this hotel and location TEN. It is clean and nice. The owner was extremely helpful. Fun to watch the cows come home across the street each evening. We stayed here three nights and would re-book in the future. Great location and MANY things to do and see close by."

"Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir sind mit dem Bus zur Zugspitze und Eibsee, die Fahrt dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und der Blick aus dem Fenster atemberaubend. Klare Empfehlung!"

"We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. Good view of the mountains as it sits opposite on the hill. It is a bit of a walk into town, but we did not mind it. It was really nice to have a walk after dinner! Apartment was clean, simple, but has everything you need. As our visit was in the summer - we did not use the sauna. Be aware the garage is small. We had a van and fortunate not all the spaces were full or we would have trouble getting in/ out. Would definitely stay here again!"
