"We had a great four night stay at this property; it worked very well for me, my wife, and our dog. The older house is clean and nicely updated with easy parking and check-in. Wasn't an issue for us, but be aware the small backyard is not fenced. The house backs up to an Arby's drive through lane, so there is some minor noise. Easy one mile drive into town and nice base for discovery of the area - we made day trips to Lawrenceburg and Louisville. Laura (owner) was responsive during our stay and...

"The location of the cottage is perfect for a visit to many distilleries as well as things for a non-bourbon drinking wife to enjoy. Bardstown itself is a lovely town. "

"You wouldn’t know this bungalow is just a block from anything you would need in the way of groceries, shopping, restaurants. Very clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is, other than a great assortment of pots, pans, skillets, and knives, there was nothing else to cook with. No mixing/serving bowls, no bakeware, very little flatware. I was constantly washing dishes (we ate all our meals in). I had to buy a can opener which I left for the next guest. But we made do and really enjoyed our stay....

"Our stay at this property was great! The house was spotless upon arrival, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hosts truly thought of everything.But the highlight? The breathtaking view! Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the scenery was simply unbeatable especially when being enjoyed from the hot tub on the deck. "This last minute getaway to spend News Years Eve with friends was a perfect find. The open flood plan was comfortable and roomy. Plenty of seating. A large kitchen table to play games comfortably for 6 adults. The bedrooms were comfortable as well.The deco was very nice. Highly recommend. "
