"The location was pretty nice, being central to the Bury St. Edmunds town center. The location of the room was very difficult to find because the navigation apps we used put us far away from the actual room. We luckily found a mailman who took us to the right location. Other than that, the room was alright and comfortable enough. I’m not too sure it was entirely worth the cost, but it was alright. I’ll say 7/10."

"Such a nice warm and cosy place to stay. Kitchen was very modern and the bed comfortable. One of the curtains in the living did not shut all the way, so let a touch of sunlight through in the morning; however, this was a minor inconvenience and we'd happily recommend and stay here again. "

"Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days...

"Cute little place with all you need for a short stay. Comfortable bed and soft towels. All kitchen essentials (only thing missing were instructions on how to use hob). Great location - walking distance to pub and bus stop into Bury. 9 taxi back in evening. A little info pack on local area would have been nice, but Simon helpful with Qs. Fresh local eggs available a few doors down - yum!"

"The little flat was spot on . The owner was on the end of the phone if u needed to ask any questions. The small town of Bury St Edmunds is beautiful. They had a great little market . And we visited the smallest pub in Britain The people were very polite and friendly. We have family there . So we will be visiting more frequently . Thanks great host."

"Nice clean ideal spot as we didn't have a car. So we walked into town and to my families homes just out of town.Not the most clean but that's okay and my 2 year old found a pill on the bedside table luckily she didn't try to eat it! So maybe cleaner could be more thorough. Only one log to use for the fire so we had to buy more but no biggie. otherwise a good stay. Would recommend "

"Such a shame that the outside and entrance to this flat is so dirty & grubby. The pile of dumped rubbish outside was not good either. The entrance & stairway is very grubby & smells damp. Needs a good clean & paint. The flat could be lovely if did not smell damp. Also you charge £30 extra for cleaning?? We had to Hoover behind the beds as cobwebs also false nails! "the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "

"We stayed here for two nights. It was very clean and spacious. The only downside we had was the celling leaking due to a crack and people above us leaving the shower running which flooded. However, Fatima was absolutely fantastic and dealt with the incident quickly. Looking forward to staying there again soon. Would definitely recommend. "

"Hockwold hall is the perfect accomodation for your next group getaway. We loved the set up and everything this property had to offer e.g. seating for 24 people, cellar which is perfect for a dance room into the little hours, a large kitchen and bbq area, games room and music room! Richard the owner was great at communicating with us and was the perfect host - only popping in when we needed assistance or to check whether we needed anything. We couldn't have found a more perfect property!"
