"Beautiful "

"We rented this 1-bedroom apartment for two weeks over the Thanksgiving holiday but never occupied the unit because we were concerned the debris in the common areas of the building created fire hazards and other safety concerns. The rental unit is located on the third floor of a walk-up building that has relatively steep set of stairs. The stairs did not appear to be actively cleaned or maintained (painting). On the second floor of the building, another apartment unit was under construction (per permit on door) and there was trash and other debris such as boxes, an old TV, and kids toys lining the hallway. There was also stack of miscellaneous items right outside our rental unit door, including a car-jack, a kettle bell, stack of chairs, a vacuum, and a child’s car seat. We believed these items located right outside the door created a potential trip hazard, not to mention an eye sore for what was touted as a “charming stay in the heart of Hoboken”.The day we checked in, we contacted the host to express our concerns that the hallway debris created a fire and safety hazard. While the host was responsive to our concerns, they ultimately confirmed that “the items in question belong to another tenant in the building, and this situation is outside of our control.”Our guest experience, inclusive of the unit itself and the building common areas, was not commiserate with the price we were charged. We will not consider renting this unit in the future. "

"We are a family of five (42,wife,11,8, and 6) first time as a fam in NYC. Perfect location. 10 min ride to NYC and Hoboken is so great! Gave us a min to breathe. The location, and view are great, but the best part is the actual apartment and host. Constant contact if needed and simple and easy to understand instructions (First time NYCers need to keep all brainpower they can LOL)Seriously, Chris was awesome and this place is amazing. Fraction of cost of what you will get and a 3 min walk to the P train to NYC. We will be back! Thanks so much Chris!!!"

"My family of five visited NYC for the holidays and we were looking for a safe place to stay which was close enough for us to easily travel into NYC every day via public transportation. This 3 bedroom in Hoboken was in a very safe location and my family members (including children) were in a safe environment walking to and from this residence to the PATH station, even when coming back late in the evenings. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the temperature could be easily controlled to our comfort. One bonus is that the water pressure for the showers were great. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to our questions. I highly recommend this VRBO and we would book it again in a heartbeat when visiting NYC again. It helped make our NYC visit so enjoyable and memorable. "

"We loved staying on the property. Everything was clean. The communication with property manager was great! I had my 8 year old son and it was still an amazing family friendly place. The location is also amazing! Everything you could possibly want to eat super close and at a walking distance. Thank you so much for the incredible experience! Hope to stay again! "

"Very reasonably priced with full kitchen. New queen-sized bed. Quiet neighborhood. Close to all the restaurants and shops on Washington. The host is great at communicating and very responsive. The electric outlet situation by the bed is not ideal The host kindly provided an extension cord, which we definitely needed, but if you have a CPAP machine or something electrical that needs to be next to the bed and/or a number of things that you want to charge, bring an outlet strip with a 3 foot or longer cord."

"The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and located in a wonderful neighborhood. We enjoyed staying in Hoboken a lot. You can get to NYC relatively fast, there is a direct train and bus to resp. off-Broadway and Broadway theaters, also at night."
