Wonderful Family Holiday
A perfect location for our Canadian family to visit our Tasmanian based daughter and her family. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and lots of space to stretch out. The outdoor pizza oven was a treat. Hope you decide to reopen the pool and spa. Will definitely return. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.

Friendly homely feeling
We found this house lovely to stay in with a few extra things to greet us a welcoming home, apples, wine and other food items, the view was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside to eat our meals. Love seeing a lot of wild life up close even down to a baby frog. Having the owner contact to see if we had settle in was a lovely feeling and to contact us as we left made us feel very welcome.

Family Get-a-way
Our family had a wonderful stay at the Hobart Entrance. The kids loved all of the wallabies in the yard, the views were amazing, and everyone enjoyed the pizzas from the outdoor oven. The wood fire was a nice touch and made for a very warm and cozy feel.

Perfect mums getaway
Perfect getaway for our group of mums in the height of school holidays in need of some R&R, secluded location gave the illusion of being far away, but in reality all the conveniences only minutes drive away. Comfortable beds and perfect that each one had its own en-suite. Both the hot tub and pool got good use over the course of our stay! The cute animals that visited at dusk an added bonus! Thanks for having us, highly recommend!

What makes Hobart so great
You are in the middle of the bush yet under a 20 min drive from Hobart city. The house is very relaxing and a complete change of pace for those used to living in the big smoke (ie us). Great to have the pool and spa for the kids. We loved having morning visits from the wallabies and the views were fantastic. Thanks for having us!

Large, designer home with creature comforts
My husband and I stayed at Anh's property for our honeymoon. The house has a breathaking view of Hobart, a luxurious hot tub, a roaring fire place and a well stocked kitchen. Oh and wifi and NETFLIX! We enjoyed the days exploring all the amazing activities close by and the evenings watching the quokas sipping vino in the hot tub.

Fantastic views
The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, the place is big, bedrooms are a goid size, master bedroom and ensuite is huge, the place is decorated in a unique quirky fashion that sets it apart from other homes. Anh can help with anything you need. There are lots of wallabies and you can walk into the forest via a track at the end of the road.

Lovely property, spacious and comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay at Kunanyi Estate. The house was clean, with plenty of space for kids to play and us to relax. We were disappointed that the ‘heated’ pool was not warm enough to swim in, even on the hottest days with apparent solar heating installed (which may not have been set up to work properly at the time) - as we’d specifically looked to rent a house with a swimming pool. Otherwise the beds were comfortable and the outdoor pizza oven was a lot of fun to use. We enjoyed the beautiful views as well as the visiting wallabies at dusk. It is a great family escape with all the necessary amenities to have a relaxing holiday, with only a 15 min drive to Hobart.

Lovely get-away
We totally loved our stay at the property. It was very spacious. Anh has a great taste for interior design. The house is beautiful and clean, and is surrounded by nature. It is very well equipped which made our stay easy and comfortable. Our 2 year old daughter truly enjoyed watching wallabies eating grass from the window. Thanks Anh, for such an amazing place!

Amazing house
We had the most amazing time at the Hobart Entrance. Yes, I agree that it is all the finest experience Tasmania got to offer. Love the decoration of the house, especially the special Tassi wood cladding. Totally relaxing. The amazing view changes every hours. Love waking up to the view and the bird singing. The kids love watching all the wild animals in the garden; and off course the wood fire pizza oven. Very comfortable bed, great sleep every night. love that every room has its own ensuite. The master ensuite is a highight. So spacious, light, and luxurious. Sparkling clean. Would love to come back. Thank you Anh for providing us with such a great experience.

Gorgeous views!
Our stay was great - the Retreat was beautifully made and would suit large groups or a couple like us. Bilbys jumping all over the yard were a highlight, as was the view of Blackman's Bay (we had a full moon, so it was stunning). The stovetop and Netflix did not work, but we managed to cook and entertain ourselves in other ways. The bath is huge and was a highlight. The wooden walls and red curtains were very Twin Peaks-esque, and the bed was comfortable. I have already recommended the property to friends.

Made our Trip to TAS!
From the US and stayed at the house for a week in June. Where to begin? The house is absolutly beutiful! Once you know how special Huon Pine and the wood of TAS is you appreciate how amazing the decor is. We woke up to about 8 wallabies hopping around the yard every morning, parrots, lots of other birds chatting in the mornings. Waking up to the sunrise looking through the huge windows out on the sea and city with a cup of coffee was a ritual every morning. Woke up early just to see the day start from that view. It is super quite at night sitting out on the patio looking at the city lights below. Kingston is very close so easy to drive down the hill into town for anything you need or a quick trip to the beach. Really enjoyed having our local friends over for a pizza buffet cooked in the outdoor pizza oven. Glass of wine, tending the oven looking at the view with good friends and good food! One of the best memories of our two week stay in TAS. Anh was super helpful and great at getting back with us if we had any questions. Defianlty take some time to walk up the road and check out the trail that leads up to some amazing views. Was a good start to the day to do a little walk and come back to the well equipped kitchen and make some breakfast. Beds were super comfortable! We did not want to leave!! THank you Anh and family for sharing your wonderful home and making our trip to Tasmania so memorable!

A wonderful place to rest and recover
The home is quite amazing - an older home built in the traditional way using solid timbers throughout. All the mod cons have recently added making it a really nice place to stay - AC, Internet access, modern bathrooms, kitchen appliances and new washing machine and clothes dryer ............. The fire place is really nice and hosts have done the wood chopping and collecting for you! Outdoor areas includes a swimming pool, dining table and chairs. From Constitution dock, it really is only a 15 - 20 minute drive - less time than it takes to drive my daughter to school in Melbourne every morning. We spent most of out time in town at the wooden boat festival and did not find the drive a problem. There are amazing views of the Dewent river and the surrounding wilderness - sunrise over the Derwent was really special from the lounge room. Horses, sheep, alpacas, wallabies, possums, and amazing bird life are all around. Will be back when we come to Hobart - thanks for a great holiday.
