It's conveniently located, offering the opportunity for a scenic walk via historical Battery Point to Salamanca.

The Space:
The space
This unit is ideally situated on the banks of the Derwent River, opposite the Wrest Point Casino Hotel and restaurants. Plimsoll Place is an ideal starting point for many of the day trips available in Southern Tasmania, or simply just for a scenic stroll into town. An added bonus is the small, secluded beach located only 150m from the unit. Your experienced host can provide friendly service, local information, and all the essentials for a memorable Tasmanian getaway or even just a short business trip to Hobart. The apartment is equipped with a comfortable double bed, a welcoming living area, fast Wi-Fi, TV, full kitchen, a washing machine, and all the required amenities to make your stay comfortable. Situated in a quiet complex off the main road and filled with morning sun, this apartment is ideal for both a short break or a longer stay.

The Neighborhood:
Sandy Bay is a beautiful and safe neighbourbood located along the Derwent River. There are two major supermarkets (Coles and Woolworths) in the vibrant Sandy Bay shopping village, which is just 10 minutes walk from the apartment. There you will find some great specialty coffee shops and restaurants. The University of Tasmania is also just a short stroll from the apartment.

Getting Around:
It's best to have a car when in Hobart so you can explore the city and surrounding areas however if not there is a bus service that can take you in to the city or you can jump on the "Hop on, Hop Off" double decker tourist bus that stops at the Casino.

Other Things to Note:
The apartment is on the first floor above the car park, so please note there is one narrow flight of steps to the door.
