The Space:
The perfect beach house for the perfect getaway or hideaway you chose, just relax and listen to waves wash away your troubles. Entering from the front deck into the lounge room you find a large comfy lounge with a smart TV with Netflix. For those who want to sit back and chill, maybe read a book there are two swivel recliners. The airconditioned kitchen and island bench like most of the house has undertaken a major reconstruction, The newly renovated kitchen has all the modern appliances, namely a manual expresso machine with pod capability, dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, oven just to list a few appliances. Off the kitchen is the laundry with washing machine and clothes dryer.
There are two large bedrooms one with a King size bed and the other a Queen size (Tasmanian made mattresses) , both bedrooms have electric blankets, and panel heaters as well as well ample hanging space.

Lauderdale is fast being discovered as a hidden secret, due to the relaxed lifestyle, with the beautiful picturesque beach and numerous walking tracks.Lauderdale is a family-oriented suburb, it has cafes, petrol stations, Gourmet grocers, a great family Hotel (Foreshore Tavern, chemist and restaurants all located in a 5-kilometer radius. The beach can be accessed across the road through the family friendly park.

With Salamanca only being a 25-minute drive away, I would highly recommend going to the iconic Salamanca Markets on a Saturday morning. The weekly outdoor market held by Hobart’s waterfront offers a diverse range of nearly 300 stalls including original and hand-made Tasmanian pieces of woodwork, jewelry, fashion, glassware, and ceramics, as well as the finest flavors from the food and produce stalls. Salamanca Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8.30am to 3pm.
I would also recommend the Farm Gate Market, which runs on a Sunday morning from 8.30am to1pm. The market is located on Bathurst Street,
Getting Around:
For the optimal experience exploring Hobart and its surroundings, having a car is advisable. Yet, if you rely on public transportation, there's a conveniently located bus stop nearby with regular services commuting to the CBD.
