I booked 1 night for a superior double room since I will arrive early in the morning around 2am and will just sleep. Then booked a luxury double room for the succeeding 6 nights. But I never transferred rooms after that. The guy Tam told me that there was a mistake on my first room, and that it was already the luxury double room and no need to transfer. It seems to me that it is the superior double room as described in the app. 16sqm and very basic. The luxury double room had a city view but this room I got had no view at all. Not even windows. It was very closed and small and the toilet/shower had no dividers. The reason I booked a better room for the next 6 days is because I wanted a bigger room but apparently that did not happen. The people at reception keep telling me that what I booked was the room they gave me, called it “standard” room when clearly I booked the luxury double room with a city view—as the app suggested at the time of booking. So I was stuck in a smaller room without a view or window for the next week. They claimed that if I wanted the room with the view I need to pay 650,000 VND/night more. Is there really truth in advertising hotels.com??? This is the very first time I am disappointed with any bookings made from your app. I have used your app for years because I know it is very reliable but this is just very disappointing, to say the least.
