I stayed with my husband during the week of Christmas. We left early because of cockroaches and ants in our room. At the front desk, they said that some cockroaches should be expected when staying in Vietnam. Needless to say, our second hotel did not have that problem.
When we checked out on Christmas Day, the employee at the front desk promised to give us a refund for the rest of our stay, but that she would have to call Expedia the next day (because of the holiday). She said that we could leave and not worry about it. The owner contacted us later to say that because we "left quickly" and hadn't talked to her when we checked out that she wouldn't give us a refund for our remaining 3 days.
Bath leaked and was not fixed. Shower broke and was not fixed. WIFI broke in the new room I booked and had a flashing lighy showing there was no connection. Informed the owner/manager and it wasn't fixed six hours later. Telling me it was my phone. When checking out at 7am the receptionist was alseep, preventing my deposit being returned...the list goes on and on. My stay in HCM city was absolutely ruined my stay atbyour hotel.
When i got there no cold water no kettle no fridge no safety rail on or near the ladder to get to the mattress but when the manageress came to work after a few days she was great and sorted most things out.
I got stolen two hundred dollars here. Two women were suspicious. One changed two 100 dollars w fake money. It can be thinkable that it was set before i was targeted
Facility of the room and whole property was poor. And the female manager of the hotel was trustworthy from the point of Japanese. I do not want to stay it once again!
in terms of respect for customers, I have rarely seen that! first night the dormitory lights come on at midnight to welcome a new client! On several occasions I had to explain to people that there were several sleeping here and that we had to respect them because many got up early! the next day the same thing but these are employers who open the lights in the dormitory during the night to put things away and welcome customers into the dormitory! I had to go down to reception to tell them that it's been two nights since this happened and that I'm tired! in addition there are rules to display in the room to turn off the lights at 11 p.m. but even using them does not respect it! sorry but if you want to sleep well don't come to the dormitory, there is no respect here! I pay to sleep, not to be in a dormitory with the lights on! moreover the place is not very clean, dust and waste everywhere in the room, very dirty bathroom, stain on the sheets and yellow slides on the walls! avoid at all costs!
