Had a lovely 2 nights here. We had a bit of trouble with our luggage being lost by the airline when we arrived, but the reception team were super helpful giving us advise on where to buy temporary clothes, and how to contact the airline's customer services (even translated on the phone from English to Vietnamese for us!!) - really appreciated this as it made quite a stressful start to the holiday a lot more manageable, so thank you!

This is a fantastic place to stay. It is walking distance to markets and walking streets. Great coffee nearby and some of the best pho I’ve ever had is one block away. The staff are so lovely, Dai, Erik, Hung, Trixie and Jade were all so helpful and accomodating. Thank you, you’ve made our stay in Saigon a special one.

The Staff at Happy Life was fantastic. It was within walking distance to food, the Bin Market, coffee across the street. The room was perfect for my GF and I. The breakfast each day had plenty of different types of foods to eat for all cultures. The Staff again was fantastic. My GF is from there so she did alot to support me but when she wasnt they were there to help me with questions. I would absolutely make another trip to Happy Life.

Jennie from dining remembered us every day and brought us her specialty coffee, while Milk at front desk helped make transportation arrangements to Can Tho because we did not want to take the bus. Erik, the bell boy, was sweet and helpful. I give this hotel 5 stars for the staff! Breakfast buffet was good. The shower tub could be a danger so take caution.

The location was good, close to some cafes and massage shops, and famous landmarks. but the hotel itself is uninsulated. So it’s very noisy specially, morning and whoever walks through the hallway talking. We stayed at 405 for 3 nights, enough space for 2 of us, basically clean but on the 2nd day, they hadn’t cleaned our room yet when we returned the room in the afternoon. So, I had to ask them to exchange some towels. Inconvenient.

I booked here for both the start and end of my Vietnam trip and was pretty disappointed. Staff were generally polite had to repeatedly ask for an iron, and my request for a refund for my room in a week’s time was declined (there had been a mistake with the booking and two rooms booked instead of one). They also booked us a tour through the hotel which was not as advertised - and very expensive compared to other tours. Wouldn’t recommend going through the hotel for these activities. The pool was also very limited in space - only three deck chairs and the pool bar didn’t open until after 4pm or couldn’t get water etc while you were up there.
