Hanz Central Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam,
Room 404; stayed three nights:
-- the Expedia itinerary that went to the hotel was a downgrade from the one that I had chosen on the Expedia website for the hotel, without thevreduction in the rate. I don't know whose problem that is; Expedia's or the hotels
-- no refrigerator in the room
-- no coffee and tea packets in the room
-- no facial tissues in the room
-- wi-fi is specific to each floor of the hotel and to areas of the floor, and was very unreliable and difficult. Floor 4 was very bad, with the modem at the far emd of the hallway. With the door closed of our room on the other end, the wi-fi would not reliably work. I had to sit in the hallway to participate in a ZOOM meeting. Oftentimes there was wi-fi connection, but without internet. Sometimes my phone would try connect to a diiferent zone on the floor, or a different floor
-- the telephone in the room did not work, even for reaching the front desk. A different phone was brought to the room, but it still did not work.
-- the electric receptacle between the beds, on the wall above the bedstand, do not work. So the bedside light on the stand has no where to be plugged in, and neither can phone chargers be used on that bedstand
-- there in not an electric receptacle in the bathroom
-- there is no wastebasket in the room; only one in the bathroom
-- there is no plug for the bathroom lavatory, so a plastic bag had to be used for a plug to wash out clothes
