"My fiancé and I stayed for 2 nights at Elephant Plains and loved every minute. As I have never loved nature, I was skeptical and restricted the stay to 2 nights, but have left with khaki fever thanks to the safari guide (Matt) and tracker (Dumi). We went to Kruger National Park afterwards and realised how we were spoiled by Elephant Plains. Elephant Plains offers quality intimate close viewings that will give you the experience of a lifetime. At the lodge, the staff were extremely helpful, ensuring that the only thing we needed to think about were the unforgettable game drives. Our only regret with the stay is that we didn’t stay for longer. My fiancé and I have discussed since and we would happily return for a longer trip when we honeymoon. "

"I have not left a review for anything in a long time, but AM Lodge absolutley deserves a great review. I read a couple of previous reviews that made me hesitant, but the record needs to be set straight. I stayed Mar 14 - March 16 of 2025 and it could not have been a better experience. I was first greeted at checkin by Raydene, Chris, and Musa. They had a non alcoholic mixed drink ready and waiting for me, a hot towel, and Raydene began explaining the structure of the lodge. They honestly made me feel like roylaty, and I had never felt that before. Raydedne broke everything down and answered every question I had, even the stuff I had texted about before arrival. I later met Brandon, the chef of the lodge. Every meal he prepared was like it was hand made at a luxury 5-star restaurant. I honetly could not have asked for better food, and he even adjusts the menu based on pretty much anything you want. Later in the afternoon, it was time for my game drive. Chris walked me to my private lodge and from that moment on, was immediately available for anything I needed. The lodge itseld was a massive 1,615 sq ft building and I had it all to myself. It is so secluded and private that you are entirely in personal peace whether you are inside or outside of your building. I got a private game drive with driver Benjamin and our tracker Bali. Im only allowed 1500 characters so I had to delete the rest of my review. In short, I would absolutely stay here again and upgrade to the superior suite"

"Our stay at Pezulu Tree House was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. And what an extraordinary experience to sleep in a tree house. We booked 2 whole-day tours in the Kruger park, a morning “Off the Beaten Track” and a Sunset tour with Akani, who is very talented, knowledgeable about wildlife and has laser eyes to spot animals in the far distance! The other highlight was the dining experience with great food in front of a fire pit. We definitely would love to come back !"

"Absolutely incredible!!! The trip of a lifetime and are already planning a trip back next year! I can’t express enough how incredible and knowledgeable the staff were and how you felt like you were at home. Everything from the food to the room and views was just amazing, can’t thank our guide and tracker Justin and Advice for some incredible game viewing and for teaching us so much! "Everything was as pictured. Glamping tents were good. Animals did roam the grounds. Always felt safe though. And most importantly the safari drives were amazing! If you are lucky you will get Vestment - he was the absolute best!!! Definitely recommend. "

"This was one of the most best travel expeirences i ever had. The Kapama Southern lodge is superb . The staff was amazing. the accommodations were perfect. The food options were plentiful. I recommend this property to everyone, and of of course the safari tours were better than expected with informal guides. "

"Hard sell for activities, food baskets etc from before you even arrive is very offputting. The complete and utter lack of care to even think about assisting with the room request was galling, particulary when when when it turns out the camp was not fully booked as we'd been told....Lastly, the units are waaay too close together. "

"Picked imbali as a good place for a short 3 day safari. Food portions were large and of good quality . There are some areas where the wood at the lodge and around the property need some replacement but overall didn’t detract from a lovely setting . Watering hole for elephants is directly opposite the restaurant area so good for breakfast and lunch . Safari drives were good and Jayden did a great job for us . Would have been nice to have a transfer from local airport Skukuza included in the cost of the room. Private hire was around £135 each way."
