Very enjoyable stay at Hlane. Nice clean rooms with excellent game viewing, saw many Rhino and this is one of the reasons for coming here. The only negative is that there is no electricity at Ndlovu camp so rooms are lit with kerosene lanterns and I’m not real fond of that lingering odor, so we just set them outside and used torches to see. Overall I would definitely recommend a stay here if you want to see Rhino.

Rustic lodge in natural setting
Such a peaceful setting. We can hear the lions at night. The staff were cery friendly and accommodating. No electricity, so they came and lit out lanterns as we were out on a game drive.

Great stay, except for addititional costs.
Room clean and equipped with everything needed. We were very unsatisfied to find out on arrival that we have to pay E110 gate fee. Not on Hotels.com or on Hlane's website was this mentioned. The cost of the game drives (E370 per person) is very expensive for what is included. In an mail received from Hlane, they said the cost was E345 per person but we had to pay E370.

Amazing Experience In Swaziland
Hlane Royal National Park was an incredible experience. You can hear the lions at night or enjoy a drink while watching the rhinos, elephants and antilopes around the water hole in front of the restaurant. I highly recommand this place.

The Swazi experience
This was a down to earth, rural Swazi experience. The huts are quite modern and comfortable and yet no electricity. The kerosene lanterns add a nostalgic ambience. The dinner was nice yet it did not agree with my tummy. The reserve is more of a open air zoo with different animals in each enclosure. You can self drive except for the lions which you can hear from your hut. You do see quite a variety of animals in their native habitat at close range. It was an experience to remember.

Perfect back to nature hut
Fantastic accommodation beside a waterhole with hippos and many wildlife. Stunning room with mosquito netted canopy bed very comfortable fully equipped kitchen with fridge running on gas. No electricity but kerosine lanterns are supplied staff even came and lit ours while we were out watching the wildlife. Rooms also have BBQ and outdoor seating are. Restaurant on site with reasonably priced food. So close to the wildlife could not fault the location. Loved our stay

Nice but hot!
Room is beautiful. Bathroom very small and dark. Kitchen is fine. It's hot - and there is no fan or air as no electricity. The propane fridge creates more heat in room!

Excellent accommondation
Excellent accommondation in Hlane National Park. Waterhole in front of the restaurant, where we could follow hippos, elefants, waterbucks and impalas. No electricity in chalets, lights with old fashioned oil lamps - cozy! In rainy weather the roads get muddy.

Also echt okay.
