A fully equipped modern extended 3 bed family home, sleeping up to 6 adults/children (5 beds) and one infant (travel cot available upon request). The light and airy kitchen/dining area is perfect for that indoor/outdoor feel, and for preparing family meals. A choice of reception areas including an open living space with TV or the cosy snug area for those family films. With Superfast Broadband, Smart TVs and USB sockets to keep everyone entertained. Bedrooms with thoughtful colours and high quality cotton linen ensure a peaceful nights sleep.
Private use of a full three bedroom home with chill and relaxation in mind. The lounge aka the snug is warm and cosy with three small sofas to stretch out on whilst watching the latest TV or use the living area to socialize whilst cooking or dining is in progress, with a second TV in here everyone can listen to or watch what they want. The kitchen is the ultimate cooking zone for freshly homecooked meals flooded with light from the Velux windows and double bifold doors bringing the outside indoors, with a large fridge, separate freezer and handy dishwasher longer stays are not a problem.
Large L shaped bath for luxurious rain showers or hot bubble baths with the second toilet downstairs you are sure to be left alone.
The high quality bed linen and towels will ensure your comfort during your stay and give you the best nights sleep (if you don't have kids of course)
The whole house is yours including a small garden area which gets fantastic light in the morning and summer evenings. Only the loft and the storage cupboard under the stairs will be locked.
Parking on the driveway for two small cars or one large one. This is a tight dead end lane so please no large vans.
Rules
You must book the correct number of people staying at the property and declare which beds are required as the price differs to cover the cost of bedlinen, towels, hotwater use, wear and tear etc. Booking 2 people will assume one joint bedroom and no use of the other beds unless communicated directly. Beds may not be made up otherwise so communication is key.
Events are request only with extra charges (discuss before booking). An event is having other people inside the propertywho are not registered to be staying at the property overnight (external guests) and include paid service staff, workman, friends and family.
Pets welcome but request only with additional cleaning charges (rules apply).
You may not book the property for other people andnot stay at the property yourself without first discussing with me.
Any terms and conditions broken during your stay will terminate the contract and you will be asked to vacate the premises, no matter the duration left of your stay. This includes but not limited to antisocial behaviour, undeclared external guests,extra guests staying at the property that have not been declared, causing serious parking issues

Location & Parking
Purwell, Hitchin is a lovely area with a family feel. A well equipped park and field space at the edge of the protected Nature reserve all in close proximity to the train station and Hitchin Town Centre. It is also on the edge of farming fields where you can follow paths out to either Willian or Great Wymondley via well marked paths, and access to Wymondley Woods.
Plenty of on street parking at the top and bottom of the road (Wilshire Cresent/ Purwell Lane). A bus stop at both the top and bottom of the road where you can either get to Hitchin Train Station and Town Centre or head out to Stotfold or even Bedford. Hitchin Train Line goes to London Kings Cross St Pancras, Cambridge and Peterborough. Plenty of good taxi companies in Hitchin area.
The station is around 15mins walk with regular trains to London, Peterborough and Cambridge. Hitchin town square is a five min drive /taxi ride where you will find a large amount of both chain and independent restaurants, shops and pubs. The area has award winning dining and pubs so make sure you prebook, Information can be supplied so please just ask. Local takeaway deliveries are fantastic with recommendation's at the property. Also, if you time your booking right you must stop a the Hitch Woods Bluebells (April/May) and the award winning Hitchin Lavender Fields (June/July/August). There are no end of food festivals and events in the Market square and around the stunning St Marys Church throughout the weekends of the summer. I keep an eye on local events and will put a list of them occurring during your visit should you wish to have them just ask.
