"This place is a hidden gem! It doesn't look like much from the outside (your basic motor lodge on a rather busy commercial strip) but don't judge the book by its cover! Our two room Suite was lovely very spacious, modern and clean with all the amenities you'd expect from a more upscale hotel. The owner (staffing the front desk) was super friendly and welcoming, and full of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat nearby."

"It began with chatty and helpful David at checkin, who offered us an upgrade to an upper floor, larger suite with better airflow through the windows. He personally walked us over, and pointed out the cafe out the back gate right next door at the campground, and the bike rentals place beside it. And of course we could now see the sea too, 400m away. Big suite with comfy sofa, kitchenette, kithcen table and balcony with table and chairs too. Good sized bedroom with huge, comfy bed. Bathroom with good if creaky shower, instant heat and plenty of water pressure. Will definitely stay again if we ever return to Nelson."

"All of the staff that I interacted with had the best customer service I have ever come across in Nelson - and that’s saying something because I lived there for 24 years. The *only* thing that may stop me staying there again in the future is actually a major positive for the park - the entire grounds are smoke free! As a smoker myself, this was a tiny bit of a pain but, it was so nice to see that this was a policy considering the amount of children that probably stay there 😁. Well done all. Keep up the amazing work!"
