La Stube de Marinette is an authentic Alsatian house from 1793 where you will feel at home! Located 15 km south of Strasbourg, you can easily reach all over Alsace. With its 200 m2, it is ideal for groups of 8 people: come and relax with family or friends! This exceptional high-end property has been completely renovated and combines modernity and authenticity. With its friendly and warm atmosphere you will spend a dream vacation!

You and your tribe will be alone in this beautiful traditional house, its private garden and its 2 to 3 parking spaces in our courtyard.

Arrive serenely with us! No stress about arrival time! We live in the house next door and we can welcome you even at a late hour. Your beds are made on arrival and we can reserve a table for you in a good restaurant nearby.

Our rate is for 8 people, for the whole house (200 m2), the private garden, 3 parking spaces inside our courtyard, beds made on arrival and bath sheets provided.

We lived in this house and everything is functional, furnished and tastefully decorated with quality materials. The Stube de Marinette was renovated in 2014 (ground floor) and 2018 (1st), combining modernity with all household appliances and the charm of the old thanks to authentic Alsatian walnut furniture.

DESCRIPTION OF PLACES

- Kitchen
Our beautiful contemporary kitchen is fully equipped: oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric coffee maker, toaster, mixer etc. The kitchen has direct access to the garden: ideal for your BBQ! Basic products at your disposal as well as a "survival kit": still water, sparkling water, milk, orange juice, butter, eggs, pasta ... and crémant! Hopla! You're gilt!

- Dining room
It is undeniably one of the most of our house! You will spend good moments of conviviality, with friends or family, around the large table which can accommodate 8/10 people. This charming room contains superb family walnut furniture filled with history.

- Living room
It is the famous "stube", the home of the house, with its original wooden wall boxes and its ultra cozy decoration which delights all our guests: sofas, throws, cushions, lamb skins and the pellet stove will welcome you with open arms after your long wanderings in our beautiful region.

* 3 suites: each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. Quality bedding, purchased in 2017 - 2018

- Suite 1: "Bredele"
Double bedroom with king size bed 180 * 200 cm and adjoining bathroom equipped with a large shower, WC, towel dryer, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer.

- Suite 2: "Quetsches"
Double bedroom with queen size bed 160 * 200 cm and adjoining bathroom (created 12/2018) equipped with a shower, WC, heated towel rail, hairdryer.

- Suite 3: "Kougelhopf"
Very large room of 40 m2 separated by exposed beams and curtains, thus offering two sleeping areas. 1 queen size bed of 160 * 200 cm and 2 single beds of 90 * 200 cm which can be put together to make a bed of 180 cm. Adjoining bathroom (created 12/2018) equipped with a double shower, separate WC, towel dryer, hair dryer.

* Private garden located at the back of the house and accessible from the courtyard or the kitchen. We provide garden furniture: chairs, table, deckchairs, parasol ... and the barbecue!

Activities: Christmas markets, skiing, hiking, gastronomy, wine route, chateaux route, hiking and skiing in the Vosges or in the Black Forest, amusement parks (Europapark, Montagne des Singes, Cigoland etc.), Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse, Caracalla thermal baths in Baden-Baden, Badeparadies in Titisee, museums ...

We had a wonderful stay at la Stube de Marinette during 10 days in August. The home is amazingly decorated, Jean and Caroline very welcoming and helpful and the location is just perfect to access many view points and monuments. We definitely recommend!

Wonderful Place to Stay
This house is so comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the area. The house has been lovingly restored retaining the sense of a 200 year old house but with very modern bathrooms and kitchen. Jean and Caroline are excellent hosts. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us. Communication with them was easy and they were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again and would plan the trip at a time the house was available. We highly recommend this property.

Great spot
Historic, cozy, nicely updated, fully equipped 3bd 3 en suite bath. Perfect for family - we had three generations. Cute village with easy access to Straussbourg, Colmar, and Alsace wine villages. Nice nature trails walkable from house. The only (minor) downside - no stores in town to stroll for morning bread and coffee - but drivable. Owners very nice and helpful. Definitely a great spot.

Beautiful home
I cannot say enough kind words about Caroline and Jean who made us feel so at home at their place. Their home is warm and cozy and the appointments were simply georgeous. Upon our arrival they gave a tour and overview of the home. Since we arrived to Hipstein late they were able to make reservations at a wonderful restaurant in a nearby village. The location in this area was great! Strasburg was nearby and and there are several smaller villages that are a must see. Make sure and Ribeauville are on your list. Looking forward to going back and spending more time at this Alsatian home. Definitely 5plus star place.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house. The owners met us as gave us a fabulous tour of everything, made us a restaurant booking, advised us on transport links and just were so very lovely. And the house and garden were beautiful. Felt very much at home and sad to leave.

“6 Stars!”
Jean and Caroline have created a perfect property for handling three couples. The kitchen is well equipped, three (!) bathrooms with showers, and the backyard excellent for a hang with drinks after a day of sightseeing. Location is awesome whether you’re heading into Strasbourg via tram or driving south to wine country. La Clé des Champ restaurant in neighboring Nordhouse is incredible and 5 minutes away. You need to drive 10 or so minutes for groceries. It’s a sleepy hamlet for a relaxing vacation.

Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 teenagers) stayed in this gorgeous holiday home. The hosts were fabulous and met us at check in. They walked through the house and explained everything we might need to know (how to use the lights, bathroom heaters, pellet stove heater, etc). They even helped us find a last minute dinner reservation! Their communication was wonderful and the home was beautiful. The house was sparkling clean and well stocked with everything we would need for our stay. The home was recently and beautifully remodeled. Every room was beautifully decorated, had the newest amenities (towel rack/warmer/heater in bathrooms, electric pelllet stove heater in the living room, etc). There was plenty of space for our group and the beds were very comfortable! Highly recommended this property!! You won’t be disappointed!

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Stube und werden sicherlich wieder kommen. Caroline und Jean sind die perfekten Gastgeber, super hilfsbereit und haben immer ein offenes Ohr für Ihre Gäste. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Dazu kommt der tollen Garten, der gerade im Sommer wunderschön ist. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt!

Vier perfekte Tage im wunderschönen Elsass
Die La Stube de Marinette ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man hat das alte Fachwerkhaus mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert und dabei dafür gesorgt, das jeglicher modere Komfort vorhanden ist, ohne dass das Haus seinen ursprünglichen Charme verliert. Die Ausstattung im gesamten Haus (alle Zimmer, Bäder sowie die Gemeinschaftsbereiche wie Küche, Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer) ist fantastisch, es fehlt an nichts. Und wenn doch, sind Jean und Caroline als großartige Gastgeber immer ansprechbar. Die beiden waren total um unser Wohl bemüht (sei es mit dem Angebot, für abends einen Tisch im Restaurant zu reservieren oder samstags Brötchen mitzubringen) und hatten auch gute Tipps für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Einen einzigen Wunsch hätten wir für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt: Eine etwas spätere Check out-Zeit (vielleicht für uns besonders relevant, da wir mit zwei 9 Monate alten Zwillingen und entsprechendem Equipment unterwegs waren ;-)). Wir können La Stube de Marinette nur weiterempfehlen und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Das wunderschöne Haus ist von Jean und Caroline aufs schönste renoviert worden: jedes Detail ist wohlüberlegt gestaltet! Liebe Caroline und lieber Jean, vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit in eurem Altbau im Landhausstil mit tollem Flair. Wir haben eure Gastfreundschaft und das schöne Haus mit großem Garten sehr genossen und haben uns sehr gut erholen können. Auch wenn einige von uns allergisch auf die Lammfelle und Federkissen sind waren Sie sehr nachsichtig und wir durften Ihre Inneneinrichtung ein wenig auf den Kopf stellen. Vielen Dank dafür! Une superbe maison bien située et des hôtes très accueillants.
Une superbe maison au coeur d'un village calme et tranquille. Un accès facile aux grands sites de la région. Maison rénovée avec beaucoup de goût et agencée pour agrémenter le séjour. Chambres indépendantes, puis la "stube" très agréable pour se retrouver entre amis. Caroline et Jean ont à coeur de faire vivre l'esprit de cette maison. Ils sont disponibles et prévenants. Au top, il faut y aller!!!
Tout d’abord, un grand merci à Jean et Caroline pour l’accueil. Nous avons passé un super séjour, la maison correspond en tout point aux descriptions de l’annonce, des chambres, voir des suites spacieuses avec tout le confort à la hauteur d’un grand hôtel. Le fait d’avoir une salle de bain par chambre est très appréciable. Les équipements nécessaires pour un bon séjour étaient présents, belle cuisine tout équipée, pièces à vivre aussi. Jean et Caroline sont des personnes super sympathiques, et très accueillantes.

Maison magnifique et superbement rénovée dans un village calme et tranquille. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement accueillants. Une localisation idéale pour découvrir à la fois Strasbourg, les Vosges alsacienne, ainsi que la Forêt Noire en Allemagne. Proche aussi d’Europapark. Fortement recommandée.

Bellissimo soggiorno in magnifica Stube alsaziana
Bella casa alsaziana, appena ristrutturata, ben arredata, molto spaziosa ( vi abbiamo soggiornato in 8 persone) molto pulita e completa di tutto. Posizione molto tranquilla in piccolo villaggio molto comoda per la visita delle cantine e dei vigneti alsaziani e di bellissima città come Strasburgo, Colmar, Obernai, Ribeauvillé e molte altre. Super consigliata!!!
