"This is a gorgeous historic place, over 200 years old, fixed up meticulously. The room had a magnificent fireplace, and tasteful antiques transporting you back in time. The host had complimentary beverages in the fridge. Located close to little shops and restaurants in the lush mountains of West Virginia, this is truly a hidden gem. I'd stay here again in a second"

"We did NOT stay at this hotel. We checked in and was greeted by a gentleman who refused to give me his name! He called his wife to meet us at the room. She opened the room with the key and left. Once inside I was shicked at the condition of the room!! It was disgusting. I went to the office and asked for a refund. I was told they don't offer refunds.
