Was excellent in terms of meeting my needs for a hotel where I could have my dog. All other aspects were just average, especially for a Hilton Head visit. The price was VERY reasonable for the location, which helped a lot.

I had to renew my electric entry card 2 of the 3 days. The light was out over the sink. Only the hand-held shower worked. The door to the next room though closed, let in a lot of tv noise.

We did not get the exact room we booked from Expedia (We booked a King bed, but due to our late arrival, only 2 beds were available - not a big deal). We have a cat travelling with us, the first room they gave us had lots of junk (dirty socks), dust bunnies under the bed. The staff was kind enough to give us another room. Overall, clean and comfortable stay.

Clean, comfortable, quiet! Great value for price
I was shocked at how sparkling clean this hotel is! It was last minute on a holiday weekend and we got a room in the spur of the moment. Check-in was a breeze, staff very courteous and pleasant. What a value for the money. Absolutely no complaints, only satisfaction!

I can do better, but it served a need.
The location is excellent close to restaurants and beaches, the staff was plesent, the room looked like the picture but had a very strong molden smell, very damp, the carpet by the bed was damp, the wallpaper was damp, the wall underneath the wallpaper had holes if one leaned on the wall the wallpaper would tare.

Nice place to stay
I enjoyed our stay at the Red Roof Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was alright but the bed was a bit hard for me and the driveway needs repair but we had a good time and would like to come back again.
The Red Roof Inn was pet/service dog friendly
We saw a historic lighthouse
We found a baby crab on the beach along with a multitude of jelly fish. The jellyfish is a brainless animal, which gives us hope for humanity lol.

Booked 2 rooms for several days. First night, my employee (English is second language) had key trouble. Went to desk for help. Clerk (Jessica) was extremely rude. I tried to help employee explain issue after employee spoke and Jessica told me "I'm not speaking to you!". She was rude, dismissive, cold and unhelpful the whole stay. Clerk needs a major course in customer service. Also, my employee's mattress was so cratered in the middle he had to sleep cross-wise and caused his back to hurt. I had to call to tell them my room needed cleaning. Trash on the edges of the property. This location needs a LOT of help!

Had to get towels yourself if they weren’t rude about it. Never went to pool looked horrible. People were smoking stuff and smelled up the entire area. Will never stay there again.
