You can also walk to the bike path, which offers a network of trails throughout the entire island. Bring your small boat to explore the area by water, because this charming home provides ample parking. Find multiple boat ramps within a short drive, as well as mini-golf, restaurants, shops, and popular island attractions.

Originally from the 1950s, this family-friendly home has been renovated throughout the years to provide all the comforts and necessities of home. Bright and fun decor fills the space, appointed with thoughtful touches like smart TVs with cable, an array of board games, complimentary WiFi, and central AC. A private balcony is an ideal spot to sip morning coffee, while a full kitchen has all you need to whip up your favorite meals and beach snacks. An open-concept floor plan is great for both relaxing and entertaining - added perks include a desk space, a bonus room with a TV and sofabed, as well as an included beach umbrella.

Weekend at the Beach with Family
The location to the beach, grocery store, and local restaurants was perfect. Communication through the Vacasa app was prompt and efficient. Would definitely recommend this location, but would strongly suggest replacing the mattresses. We thorough enjoyed HHI.

Quaint Beach Cottage

Loved the neighborhood and proximity to the beach! We enjoyed our weekend here, but I noticed a few things that would prohibit me from booking a longer vacation. The main floor is upstairs which would have been cumbersome if we had brought a lot of luggage. The separate dining room was nice; however, the kitchen was small and I think it would have been difficult to prepare a full meal given the lack of counter space. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out, but unfortunately, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Overall, the home was lovely and mostly clean.

Overall great stay, but terrible mattresses
Prior to our trip I read reviews regarding how uncomfortable the mattresses were so I reached out to Vacasa, they reported the mattress situation had been resolved. I’m pregnant so comfortability was really important. But regardless of being pregnant, these mattresses would not be comfortable for anyone…they were the worst I’ve ever experienced. We ended up having to buy a nice mattress topper from Walmart to survive the rest of the nights after attempting the rock hard mattress the first night. We were both hurting so bad the next day. It was mostly disappointing since I had reached out regarding the issue and they said it had been resolved..there is no way anything had changed with the mattresses. Hopefully continued reviews will help resolve the issue. Everything else about the stay was great! Looks kinda sketchy upon driving up, but looks much more decent inside. Great accessibility and minimal walk to the beach, great area of Hilton head and convenient to everything. We loved that it was dog friendly so that we could bring our pup! The only other thing is that it would have been nice for a few k-kups for the keurig to be provided.

Clean and charming remodeled home from the 1950s. One block from the beach and easy to walk to the beach. Very dog friendly house and yard. Parking for up to 4 vehicles. Easy access to all local restaurants and island entertainment. Great for a family with kids!

We love the home and the location the home had everything we needed and was a small step to the beach the home was super quiet and warm we loved it !!! But the one thing I would say is get better soft mattress for all the beds but other then that 100 all the way xoxoxo

Guys, for real, don’t do it
Maybe this place banks on people getting too drunk or too tired from the beach for them to notice. But the beds in this place were literally like sleeping on wood pallets. We literally left a day early and cut our losses to just come home because our bodies were hurting so bad. If you’re spending this much on a vacation rental, they could at least have decent mattresses. Guys, I promise I’m not being dramatic. I never leave reviews for anything but THIS was absolutely ridiculous. Both bedrooms had a queen bed and both beds had the same, cheap, gravel filled (or what it felt like) mattresses. Oh and those same mattresses were on the pull out sofa beds as well, trust me we tried, but also couldn’t get pas the hair covered mattress cover on it. We were so happy upon booking and first walking in but then the little things kept adding up and I think it scared my husband from vacation rentals all together. I will say it was maybe one street down from the beach access which was perfect but I would still rather drive a few blocks and know I’m going back to a home that is comfortable. It had a hose down stairs to spray everything down and hose off but the nozzle fell apart and the water smelt like raw sewage. No washer or dryer which isn’t a deal breaker but if you’re a mama reading this then I feel like it’s good to know. There were so many other tiny things that could be easily fixed but again, they know that you’re not going to get there and unpack and everything and then cancel after you see all the bullcrap that’s wrong.
