"Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."

"This a nice little house in Alferton, it was great for myself, a friend and my large dog. It was well equipped and comfortable. It was a little dated upstairs and there was no photos of details of the bedrooms but they were clean and well catered. My friend who stayed in the back room noted the boiler (which is in that room) is very noisy and kept her up but that wouldn’t bother some people. "Lovely property in a peaceful location. Facilities were great, lots of care has gone into providing a very comfortable holiday home. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of a day out exploring. The welcome bottle of prosecco was a lovely gesture. We all had a great stay. "

"Perfect house for get together with large bedrooms 5 of which are en-suite and many with single beds which makes for great flexibility depending on the make up of your group. Large group spaces in kitchen and living room with a great conservatory too. Also on direct bus route to Derby and area. Everything a large group could want. Owners live next door and we’re very welcoming and helpful."

"Cottage was easy to find and the instructions to get the keys from the key box were easy to understand. The village is a quiet rural community, up a steep hill from the local pub with no other facilities but it's a short drive into Ashbourne. The property is nicely decorated throughout with all mod cons. The bathroom is as good as it looks in the pictures. A shame that there is no garden and minimal roadside parking."
