"The cabin was nice . Great view. Mostly clean , but the coffee pot was very dirty. There was plenty of coffee, but no filters.The grill was very dirty and the grill bush was in such bad condition it was un-usable."

"My friends and I always choose a new cabin for our annual fall getaway. We've not had a bad experience yet. Mountain Mama's Woodpecker Woods did not disappoint, either! Comfortable, warm, clean, spacious log cabin. It had everything we needed. In fact, it was so relaxing, we never made it to the hot tub. We did visit Harper's Ferry Park and enjoyed walking the hiking trail to the downtown area. :-) We especially loved the close proximity to the Washington, DC Metro area. If there was anything...

"This was a very beautiful place to stay. The host was extremely communicative and made sure I knew she was available if needed. I enjoyed the history of the cabin and the information provided about it. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a cozy place to stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay in the cabin, only wish it was off the road a bit more. Owners had great communication throughout. Only issues- no wash cloths and slight musky smell but we still enjoyed stay!"

"We were visiting with family in Boonsboro and arrived late in the evening and left by 9am, but everything was there that we would have needed for a longer stay, which we have planned for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was very well equipped, the space was inviting, the beds were comfy and the view out the back was great, Looking forward to our return!"

"This mountain house is absolute beauty! It is beyond gorgeous. The view is spectacular, the sunset is breathtaking. You have a 180 degrees view of West VA. The house itself is stunning, plenty of rooms to move around with our group of 15. We enjoyed the jacuzzi while admiring the beautiful sunset. The kids had fun roasting marshmallows while Eagles are flying up above them. Thank you for sharing this Eagle’s Nest home. 😊"

"This property could not have been more quaint and peaceful. My husband, two dogs and I enjoyed the long weekend, walking the trails and taking in the history of Harper’s Ferry. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. The location could not be better for seeing the town on foot. The property was clean and so neatly appointed. Breathtaking views! "
