"The Historic Red Rooster Inn was a destination! It has been beautifully renovated and updated. A great deal of attention to detail and much love has been put into the property. We loved the bar/restaurant as well. The game room downstairs offers all manner of entertainment. The owners and staff were wonderful and kind. It is difficult to convey with mere words how much we enjoyed our stay and sojourn in Hillsboro. We strongly recommend anyone looking for a country getaway to reserve a stay at the Red Rooster Inn! Well worth it!"

"Second time i was staying over in Greenville and had a room one door down from previous stay. Big and clean. Smelled good, quiet and again one of the most comfy beds I've ever slept in. Front desk was helpful, and polite. "

"Well maintained facility, friendly staff, Mexican restaurant almost directly across the street, Love's gas station a block away. Other dining choices nearby and easy access to I-70. I got great deal with an Expedia discount, was well worth the amount I paid. Breakfast was not much but for a quick overnight stay and discounted price it was suffice."

"This is a nice, well run, low cost place to stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely updated. Very clean. Unfortunately, some of the guests staying upstairs were not so quiet. But I can’t blame the hotel. Overall, it was a great place to stay on a longer road trip for a nice reasonable price."
