"My family had an amazing restful weekend at the Mt. Pleasant Lodge. The cabin was very spacious and clean, the beds were so cozy and the basement playroom kept the grandkids busy and happy! We enjoyed the pool house, hot tub and gathering around the fire pit at night. I highly recommend staying here!! "

"The food at the restaurant was poor. The server was very kind and let us order off of the menu because the buffet was not great. The food we ordered was not great either. Usually food is better as this was not our first stay."

"Brought my son for 40th birthday getaway. Very relaxing. He only had two small complaints about the hotel. Not enough water pressure in the showers and no way to turn on AC to cool room off. We both put our thermostats down as far as they would go but both of our rooms were too warm. It is February so I get it. Otherwise nice stay. Friendly staff. Nice public areas and gym. Loved they gave us adjoining rooms so we could still be close but shut the doors for privacy. "

"My husband and I were just looking for a quick getaway. The room was a little worn, but not to the point of being gross. Overall it was very clean ! We like to cook when we are away, so not having a real breakfast was okay for us. The price point was super reasonable and way better than other hotels in that range. "My wife and I loved the time we spent in this cabin. It was perfect in the winter, with some snow on the ground. Very scenic. It was well stocked with nice blankets, and the heater did a good job of warming it up after it had been on for a good while.
