Location was great - walkable to Hill City. Probably the most well stocked and clean rental I've ever stayed in. Host was great - super responsive and even hooked us up with a few things we forgot!

Perfect Family Getaway
This place worked so well for our family. There are many activities such as pickle ball, shuffleboard, hot tub, bags, basketball and many board games if you are in the mood to just hangout. It is also centrally located if you feel up for the many adventures the Black Hills offers. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jim!

Our recent stay at the VRBO in Hill City, SD, was absolutely wonderful! The description of the property was spot-on, capturing its charm and beauty perfectly. The location is amazing, offering breathtaking views and easy access to all the local attractions. The hosts were fantastic, always available and incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What a great place!
We spent the weekend in this place and it was amazing. One of our favorite properties ever. We had our kids and my in-laws and the place had something for everyone. The pickle ball, basketball, and shuffleboard were great for keeping the kids entertained. The adults liked the hot tub and great outdoor patio. The kitchen was very nice and everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend. FWIW, this was our first trip to the Black Hills and we were very happy we elected to stay in Hill City rather than the Deadwood area. Closer to Custer and Rushmore and less of a party area.

Wonderful Getaway
We all came out to ride our UTVs in the Hill City area. The house was nice and clean and had fun games. The back patio area was great! Lots of parking for our vehicles and trailers. Very close to Hill City. Would definitely stay here again.

This was such a nice place to stay and our hosts were fantastic!! We had everything we needed plus! We rode our trikes in the Hills during the day and had such a great retreat to return to. Quiet backyard with lots of things to do and just a couple blocks from downtown Hill City!! We hope to be back again soon 😊

Wonderful vacation
We had a wonderful stay in the black hills. A large part of the success was this property. It was spacious for our party of 10 (6 adults & 4 kids). Property was very clean and the amenities were over the top. I had never played pickle ball and was somewhat unsure but am now a huge fan learning along side my family. Jim was always a text msg away with any questions we had. Our only suggestion would be with the VRBO listing stating that both bedrooms 2&3 contained bunk beds. There is only one set. But there was plenty of room. My family would love to return

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL
We were 4 high schools friends in our 60's and LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY, LOCATION AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND OUR STAY. The home is super clean (and I am VERY PARTICULAR); well appointed, great location, great set up; big open kitchen/living space. We were very pleased. The pickleball court and other outdoor games are an added bonus. Lots of nice relaxing areas outside and inside . The views are beautiful. The host was very attentive, communicative, available and walked us through the property upon our arrival. WE ALL FOUR HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME, AND HAVE ALREADY TOLD MANY OTHERS ABOUT IT. It will not disappoint! We will certainly be back many times.

The REAL gold in Hill City
This vacation property and property owner were terrific and set the standard in every way possible. My family has stayed in 2-4 rental properties a year since 2019, and this one was by far the all-around best. The amenities included were great for those wanting to stay connected or disconnect in the mountains. We recommend enjoying pickleball, basketball, the hot tub, shuffleboard and firepit! In addition, the well-stocked coffee bar, cookware in the kitchen, and washers and dryers made the stay feel like home. The location is one of the best in the Black Hills being only a 30 seconds drive from downtown Hill City. While the location is close, it is amazing there was no observable noise coming from town while enjoying the property’s outdoor amenities. Lastly, there’s Jim. Jim is property owner and made our stay absolutely wonderful. He takes the time to get you checked into the property, show you around, answer your questions and ask if you need assistance with anything. He was always available when we had a question and no doubt would be there if something went wrong (no surprise, it didn’t). Jim took time out of his day to ask us how things were going and even asked if we had ideas to improve the property and experience for future guests. We really appreciated Jim’s attentiveness and his genuine desire to make sure his guests have fun and enjoy their stay to the fullest. This is the only property we will stay at in the Black Hills going forward. Thank you Jim!

An amazing host and place to stay. So much fun right at the house. The place was clean and felt like we were home. So convenient to all areas in the Black Hills. The house was perfect for our girls' trip. It's centrally located and and has a well stocked kitchen. We made good use of the outdoor area in the back with pickleball court, corn hole, hot tub, big screen tv, and fire table. Jim was very responsive during our visit.

Amazing Weekend
We had a really great stay for a long weekend. House was cleaned and had anything we would really need. Lots of different games and activites to do at the house as well. We had 8 adults and it was extremely comfortable for everyone. We had a large trailer to haul our UTVs and there was also plenty of parking. Would highly recommend!

This was a beautiful property with very helpful hosts. Would recommend a check-in binder, instead of the in-person check-in. Also maybe make sure guests are not there when you need to service things around the property. Other than that our stay was amazing!!!
