Family Fun in Highlands
We had a great experience. The host was very responsive. The house was perfect for our group. The area also has lots of waterfalls that are beautiful and worth the effort to see.

Thanksgiving Stay
We had a great stay and the house fit 14 total guests no problem. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings are good quality. Family room is very welcoming and enjoyable central spot for family gatherings. Host was very responsive to any issues / requests. We hope to be back.

Been coming to highlands area since 2005- this house had it all ! Views, 3 king bedrooms and lots of room to spread out, lovely decor and most friendly hosts to communicate. Didn’t leave without reservation for 2024, was a great week,

Spectacular Home and View
We had a wonderful 60th birthday in this lovely home. Plenty of room for 4 couples and several young adults to stay comfortably. The view is spectacular where one can catch the sunrise and sunset. The owner was extremely helpful and the response time was quick when we had a question. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful home and all it has to offer.

Stags View was the perfect vacation home for our big family. The view is absolutely amazing. An abundant about of space for everyone to be comfortable. Lots of amenities including a Bluetooth record player with a great selection. Close to town and lots of waterfalls. We highly recommend booking your Highlands stay at Stags View!

Girls Weekend
My girlfriends and I (a group of 10) had the most wonderful stay at White Stag. The house was perfect and the common rooms were exactly what we needed to lounge, eat and catch up over a long weekend. The view is phenomenal and it was so nice being close to downtown We visited during the "off season" in February but everything was still open in town and there was plenty to do. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Girls Weekend
Stags View was the perfect place to host a girls long weekend. The bedrooms are spacious, the great room is a a wonderful size for lounging & catching up and the kitchen is well equipped. The view off of the back balcony is incredible. The house is a short drive to downtown Highlands where you can enjoyed the restaurants and little shops. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a lovely weekend in the mountains!

Spacious home with amazing views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well located home only 3 miles from downtown Highlands. We spent most of our time on the back porch taking in the spectacular mountain views. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything needed to cook at home and each bedroom was very comfortable with nice linens. The home is perfect for a big family or several families.

The house was beautifully done and the view was spectacular! Would definitely stay there again. My only suggestions would be that it needs to have at least dishware for 18 people and extra bath towels. A 2nd refrigerator would also be a huge plus.. Other than those items, it was perfect!

Highlands Family Time
When going in, the first thing you see is the mountain view!! Just gorgeous!! The house was beautiful and decorated perfectly for a mountain house...very clean, very well stocked kitchen , very comfortable furniture and beds.....the sun rises and sunsets were spectacular...Highlands, lots of hiking trails and waterfalls were close by.....we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stags View!!!

Perfect vacation spot
Our family vacations every summer in mountains, mostly in Highlands area. This lovely spacious house was the best fit yet—3 King BR and 3 other nicely appointed comfortable space for sleeping.. Wonderful kitchen with all amenities adjacent to huge deck with fire pit and amazing views. Downstairs game room with comfy seating , pool table and huge tv was perfect for our “kids”-17,19 and 22. Booked before we left for next June—can’t wait to get back,

Beautiful Mountain House
We enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous mountain house! Our daughter got married at Old Edwards, The Farm, and our family enjoyed the week preparing, relaxing and spending family time on the deck looking at the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains! We also fell in love with the Highlands, full of waterfalls, hikes and the cutest little town with amazing shops!! It was a special week for our family! This house was the amazing ! Thank you to the owners who were so accommodating !!

Quick getaway
Decided to take a last minute long weekend with the family and this one said available so we booked it. Absolutely beautiful views and the home had everything we needed. Went out the first night for dinner but decided to grill out the second night. There was a store within 5 minutes to grab some steaks and anything else we needed. The grill was awesome and we had everything we needed for a great dinner. We loved how close everything was but yet we still had that feeling of remoteness of being in the mountains with an incredible view. It's a little hard to find down the gravel road but lighted large signs help guide the way. On my list to return for future visits. Thank you for the hospitality.

Wonderful stay at Stags View
The Stags View provided a great location and accommodations for our four couple reunion. We loved the great room with its open design for cooking, eating, visiting, and relaxing. The well equipped kitchen was appreciated by all. The location has a fantastic view, is very private, and yet has easy access into Highlands for shopping and dining. The host was very responsive to our questions and requests.

Relief from the heat!
This house and location were a welcome relief from the heat for all of us. It worked beautifully for our whole family and the grandchildren loved the bunk beds! The covered outdoor space was our favorite gathering spot. The view is wonderful!

Great House, Great Views, Great Time!
My family and I stayed here in early November, 2022 for a family get-together. The house was great for our needs and the rooms, appliances, and amenities were very nice, far nicer than those typically seen in rental properties. The home has a great location only a few minutes from downtown Highlands. Our hosts were very accommodating and the views from the back deck were amazing, even better than some of those we saw while hiking the many trails surrounding Highlands. I was very pleased with this rental and will be sure to contemplate it in the future when we return to Highlands.

Loved the property. Only critique is that the air/heat control was difficult to control in the bedrooms and was hot and also the kitchen utensils/pots/pans/glasses were a bit dated and limited.
