Having stayed at this property before, we looked forward to returning. The owners are a delight and had everything in good order. Not only is the property itself comfortable and enjoyable, the proximity to downtown highlands is ideal. We have always enjoyed this property and look forward to the next opportunity to be stay there.

Lovely weekend
We were up in Highlands for a wedding and the location couldn’t have been better! The house is quaint with a lovely porch and view. Loved having 3 br and bathrooms! Only complaint is no face tissues in the bathrooms and no extra toilet paper should someone get ill. Other than that it was very well stocked - especially in the kitchen. Would definitely go back.

Loved our stay. It felt like we were in a secluded area but we were just blocks from the center of Main Street. Kitchen was quite small but well stocked.

Weekend Stay for Family Wedding
Great location, only a short walk to Main Street. Wonderful, peaceful back porch. If you are anxious about parking on the steep driveway, simply park on the street in the designated space in front of the house. Sue was always available for any questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Awesome stay
Host was friendly and very easy to contact. The location of the property was perfect for my family. We walked with our stroller everywhere in town. The house was perfect for our small family but would easily accommodate 6 people. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice house
Location was good and house very nice. The bed in which I slept was as comfortable as any I have ever had. Large back porch with seclusion. Easy proximity to town. nice hot water for showering. Parking for two vehicles. Fireplace is electric, no heat but the effect is pleasant. All in all it was an all too short of a stay, but we loved it while we were there. NOTE: Open stairwell in living room may pose a hazard to toddlers.

Perfect Highlands Location
This was a comfortable 3BR/3BA house within easy walking distance of everything on Main Street. It would be ideal for 1 or 2 couples or a small family. The kitchen prep area is very small, but well-stocked with everything one needs. The wood-burning fireplace added to the coziness during the cool fall weather.

Cozy Mountain Getaway!
I would stay here again! Nicely furnished, rocking chairs on the covered porch that looks out to the woods, wood fireplace and large master bedroom. We did not think the driveway was an issue, not that steep and easy access from the road.
