The Space:
Galax is a beautifully appointed studio apartment that combines charm and comfort. The studio includes a comfortable seating area and a well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for preparing light meals or snacks. - Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge (no freezer), microwave, toaster oven, and dishwasher.

The open layout includes a plush king bed with luxurious linens, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The elegant and spacious bathroom features double vanities, walk-in shower, heated floors, and fluffy towels, along with complimentary starter amenities to elevate your stay.

Guest Access:
An entry code will be provided. The Galax apartment is street level.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Highlands, the six apartments in The Lofts on Main offer an unbeatable location between Main Street and Oak Street. Step outside your door to discover world-class dining, upscale shopping, and a vibrant calendar of in-town events. You are steps away from several hiking trails easily accessed from downtown Highlands.

Getting Around:
Conveniently located between Main Street and Oak Street. The Galax studio apartment provides easy access to the best of Highlands, from local dining and shopping to picturesque hiking trails just minutes away.

Other Things to Note:
Non-Smoking & Pet-Free: For the comfort of all guests, our apartments are strictly non-smoking and do not accommodate pets.

Parking: Parking along Main Street is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additionally, The Lofts on Main offers two reserved spaces on Oak Street, also first-come, first-serve.

Washer & Dyer: full-size in the apartment.

Coffee: There is a Keurig coffee maker.

Yearly Anniversary Trip
We come to the Highlands each year for our anniversary and have stayed at several of the Lofts on Main. They are all decorated beautifully. The location could not be better. We park our car when we get there and do not need it again until we leave...you are able to walk so many places. Beautiful trip. Looking forward to next year!

Superb property!

We have now stayed at this property twice. Both times the communication between me and the host was flawless. The room was very clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed the sheets, those were cozy and the heated bathroom floors were lovely! You can’t beat the proximity of the property to everything you need in Highlands, all within walking distance! Would happily stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful visit to Highlands- it was so enjoyable and our Galax studio suite could not have been at a better location. It was clean and we loved the decor. This was the perfect place for me and my wife to stay at for our weekend in Highlands. It is right downtown so easily walkable to anywhere you’d want to go. Very nice space that is tastefully furnished and decorated. We couldn’t think of a better place to stay when we come visit again.

Some constructive feedback: we were not able to communicate effectively with the owners with a couple of questions…namely the WiFi password which would have allowed me to Access the VRBO website and receive messages from the host. In addition the phone number listed stayed busy repeatedly.

King bedroom suite with great location.
My has been and I were In Highlands for a close friend’s wedding. The apartment has wonderful amenities, is in a fantastic location and the bed is very comfortable. We appreciate the heated tiles in the bathroom as we have the same in the bathrooms at our house. The host/manager, Bill was available and checked in with us during our stay. I highly recommend staying at the Galax apartment.

Excellent location for a stay in Highland. Room was in pristine condition with modern appliances, incredible bed, super robes, great lighting and high tech door lock. We were able to walk the entire town. Room right in the middle of Main Street right across from the Old Edward Inn. Highly recommend

This condo was lovely and perfectly situated in the downtown area within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Owner and property management answered all of my questions promptly. Check in was all remote and couldn’t have been easier. Parking was readily available. The condo was beautifully appointed and all the furniture was super comfortable. There was even a blackout curtain separating the living space from the sleeping area! Loved our stay in Highlands.
