All my friends were pleasantly surprised with the location, view and overall arrangements that were made by the Host to accommodate us. The property had everything to offer and we left the property extremely happy, positive experience and looking forward to come back again. "

"My family and I loved our time at Ron's cottage! There was so much for all of us to do; we had a great time kayaking, playing badminton and having s'mores by the fire at night. We also really enjoyed fishing in the canoe as well as playing pool and air hockey in the games room! Inside the house is very nice and had the cottage vibe we were looking for and the newly renovated dock was perfect for the surprise I had planned, which was a proposal to my now fiancé! It was perfect for setting up...

"We had a wonderful few days at Hills Haven for our honeymoon! We enjoyed lazing about, playing games, having a nice camp fire and taking the canoe out on the river. The hosts were amazing to deal with and the accommodations were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and cooking was a joy! "

"This 3 bedroom cottage is small but lovely; with a well stocked kitchen and absolutely beautiful location. Photos reflect summer amenities…in winter there are no outbuildings / den or fire pit available. There is also a photo of a wood stove, but it was unconnected. The weekend we stayed there was a major snowstorm and we had to wait a number of hours to get plowed out (no fault of the host). Lovely spot. "

"We loved our stay at the cottage! The lake was so peaceful, clear warm water. It was exactly what we were looking for and more! Rustic cottage, water toys, hanging on the dock or the beach, bonfires, fishing, exploring, sunrise paddles. The dogs were the happiest being off leash and exploring, swimming, dock diving. 10/10 recommend 👌 "

"Parents week away for our anniversary and were so pleasantly surprised at finding this gem.Communication with the host Zoe was top notch she answered all our questions quickly and after a huge snow fall Kurt was a quick to come out and plow us out and check on the internet/satellite. The overall cleanliness was good we did however find quite a few dishes with food stuck to them, easy to see in the slow season how this might not have been double checked and was easy enough for us to move past...

"We had a lovely time but it didn’t feel like a cottage setting. Neighbours were very close to us. The river was interesting as we watched pontoons go up and down. The firepit was nice and big. Kitchen was good but a microwave would have been welcome to warm up leftovers. If you are looking for a quiet cottage setting, this may not be the place for you. "
