"We stayed here for a 3 day weekend. We visited River Ranch Resort and this was a more affordable stay that was about 30 minutes away. The hotel room was nice, very clean, and comfortable. It was a very quiet and relaxing stay. We did not have any signal but the WiFi worked fine. The no signal made it a little difficult to get around without our phone GPS but you can manage if you pay attention to the roads which is not too complicated. We got to the property after the office had closed and received a text message on how to access our room and it was quick and easy without any issues. My only minor complaint is that the property is huge and we were driving around lost for a while trying to find the hotel rooms until someone was kind enough to direct us. During the weekends there is a food truck near the office which serves breakfast which was really convenient. The store on the property has the most basic of essentials and the staff is nice. The part of the property near the water is super charming and peaceful. Our kids had a blast running around and playing hide and seek. It was not crowded at all. Overall recommend for a nice country getaway. "

"Let’s be clear: this is a renovated hotel from another era. It’s not going to be some all amenity modern hotel. Two stories and no elevator, carry your own bags, simplicity. The beds were very good, the room was clean, the doors were secure, and the water pressure was good. The continental breakfast was the cereal, yogurt, and fruit of others. It felt like I was staying in an original Howard Johnson of the 1960s and I appreciated that. "

"My husband and I stayed at this property with our 2 grandsons to go to Legoland. It is situated very close to Legoland, approximate 10 min walk,(saves a $30 parking fee at Legoland) felt very safe, good breakfast in the morning, friendly staff. Several restaurants nearby, also walkable. Free parking at the hotel. Our room was large and very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again."
