Location, location, location! My cabin is within 6 miles of the New River Gorge Bridge in a secluded wooded area. The cabin has two bedrooms, and a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen and a hot tub. The cabin is 6 miles form Adventures on the Gorge (AOTG). AOTG is the largest adventure resort in the state. They offer whitewater rafting, zip lines (2 courses), rock climbing/rappelling, mountain biking, Timber Trek (obstacle course in the trees-new), paint ball, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and much more. They have three restaurants/bars. I am the founder and retired CEO of AOTG and I would be glad to help you plan your trip or answer any questions about the resort or the area in general.

When you visit Fayetteville, you’ll find a small town with a lot going on. It’s a great place to visit on vacation- friendly folks, great shopping/restaurants, small town atmosphere, and world class thrills, right next door to the New River Gorge National River and Bridge. Bring a taste for excitement and a desire to relax. We will handle the rest.

Such a great stay!
This is our second time staying at these cabins and absolutely love them! Super close to many attractions and hiking sites. Always love the hot tubs and the nice fireplace for those cold nights!

Great location
We came down to visit New River Gorge. The cabin was in a great location for what we wanted to do, only 15-20 minutes from several hikes. The owner was nice and was easily available when needed. My only complaint was the hot tub on the property was a little temperamental and could have been cleaner. The cabin was nice and clean though.

This property has everything we needed for a mini vacation. Located easy access to area attractions and comfortable quiet location. Hot tub was a great bonus after a cold rainy zip line adventure.

Peaceful Memorial Day weekend stay
Accurate description and pictures. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, my two little dogs and myself. Very clean, and all the necessities for a short visit. Very easy to get into the cabin, no issues with using the tv/wifi or finding the cabin. Owner sent clear directions on going to cabin, getting into cabin, and recommendations in the area. Parking was steps away from the door, making it easy to unload our car. Friendly neighborhood dog that came to relax with me on the cute porch. Very close to New River Gorge NP, and Fayetteville where we had lunch after our hikes. Will stay again next time we are passing through.

Perfect Cabin Getaway
We loved our stay in cabin 3. The cabins were not hard to find once you pull into the parking lot of the repair shop, something I was nervous about when booking. We took our pup with us on the trip and she loved being able to run around a bit while we were around the fire pit. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. We had no issues with check-in/out. We will be staying again in the future!

Great cabin accommodations in beautiful wooded area, close to adventure and dining.
Communication from property owner was great, everything was wonderful. We will be looking to stay there again, had a fantastic time! Front door keypad did not work, needs a new battery. But found a key under the doormat so it turned out fine.

The property is maintained and cleaned well. The driveway into the place is not lit, so it is hard to find the first time, but easier once you figure out the landmarks.

Great Cabin Experience
This property has several other cabins also on the property like a little community of cabins. It’s close to many trails as well as tucked back out of the way. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. The yard was a great size for our two dogs and we loved the porch swing! We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back!

Amazing for a winter getaway
We had a light snow during our stay, and combined with the fireplace, it was a magical experience. The cabin is very simple, and for a weekend getaway it’s amazing. Everything was spotless and there was a good assortment of cookware and utensils. Just don’t forget to bring a lighter if you want to build a fire!

Great place to vacation
The listing was just as posted. Had an issue with the hot tub not working when we arrived but the owner had it working within 24 hours! Washer and dryer was free for all guests which was a huge bonus! Cabin had everything you could imagine to prepare meals and the dishwasher was great as well. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect Weekend
Absolutely loved the cabin we stayed in. Very clean, spacious, and the perfect spot for a short weekend trip. The only dislike was the wifi. I had almost no cell service and the wifi did not work well, which made it challenging to look up directions or hikes. Aside from this, everything was perfect!

We loved this cabin
This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for the summer. We will definitely stay at these cabins again.

We used this as a two day stop on our travel south and enjoyed every second. This was our second time here and will plan to use again! Property was clean. Owners great to work with. All kitchen items at the ready. Clean and working hot tub. Close to nearby attractions and easy to get to while also feeling out of the way and quiet! Highly recommend!

Overall good stay. Close to trails, parks and bridge. Cabin and hot tub nice. Cabin is a little dark but overall nice place with front porch, swing and chairs. Grill was good for hamburgers! Shower head needs to be changed so it doesn’t hit right in the face and not the rest of the body! Would stay again if return to the area.
