"We found the lake house as expected. This was a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the lake from both the deck and living room is wonderful. "We had family flying in from Florida and Nashville for a 3 day stay for a wedding. We had 5 adults and 2 one and half year olds. It was very accommodating. The host was so friendly and we were able to get in early and check out later. We also brought our boat and was able to dock it at the property so we could easily get back and forth to bay pointe. We highly recommend this rental!"

"This lake house had everything we needed to enjoy a few days in Michigan. The lake was just the right size… not too big and not too small. And Lake Michigan beaches and towns were a short drive away. The house had everything… a grill, fire pit, all of the kitchen things we needed. We could enjoy the sunsets over the lake. It was very clean and the hosts were very responsive and easy to reach. "

"We rented out both houses for our big family. It was a combination of siblings, grandkids, and grandparents. Everyone had a bed. The houses were super clean. We had so much fun. The houses are both set up like a hotel. You just need to bring food, drinks And beach towels. "

"Rich and Starr were excellent hosts. The cottage was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. Very clean! The communication was excellent before and throughout our stay. "The house was very clean. Great fishing off the pier, steps away from the door. Nice elevated patio. Quiet. Easy to access. Short trip to Hastings, which is a pleasant step back in time. Several good restaurants downtown. Plenty of shopping. Walmart close for supplies. Will return."

"Very wonderful home. Updated nicely. We're an older couple but still loved the "garage" setting. Actually slept there one night. Saw a LOT of wildlife--many deer, fawns, foxes, gophers. The lake is well maintained. We were in a cove that had an extra treatment for weed control while we were there but it was only a 1 day delay to swim. The house has the only swimming capable point in the cove. We didn't fish but saw many fishing people in the cove early and late in the day when we're guessing...

"The lake cottage was a great get away with the family. We enjoyed a full weekend of water fun and sand. The lake was very warm and inviting. Bring your own fire wood, bathroom supplies, kitchen spices, and kids toys/games. No hot tub or spa tub."

"Very adorable and clean home with a beautiful view of the lake. The photos online don’t do it justice. HUGE back deck with multiple seating options. Great pier for fishing. A great surprise that wasn’t in the photos is a floating deck. It even has built-in seats and a table! We filled up a cooler and swam out. You may reconsider bringing your own boat if you want to use this lake. There is a very small access point but it’s not really intended for the public. We were unable to back our boat...
