Pretty Fawn Place (255688) has a paved road to secluded beauty of nature with a year round mountain, lake and sunset view. A view of the monument of Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia, can be seen across Lake Chatuge. Our fully furnished mountain home has three bedrooms and two full baths. The kitchen is located on the main floor with a breathtaking view of the mountains. A vaulted ceiling living area has a 50" Flat SCREEN. Wood burning fireplace along with 2 bedrooms on the main level. Downstairs is a separate living area with TV, stereo, DVD player and along with a third bedroom, second full bath and washer and dryer.

Just outside in the yard is a two person swing with a cozy fire pit for the cool nights. Enjoy a jetted HOT TUB whirlpool and comfy rocking chairs. Enjoy feeding the birds from the bird and hummingbird feeders.

The home has central heat and air along with wireless internet. Come and enjoy a home decorated in mountain decor with one of the best views with a sunset in Hiawassee Ga. just 2 miles from the middle of town.

Amazing little log cabin in the mountains with a beautiful view!!! The location is incredible with over 30 hiking trails some with water falls within 30 miles…if hiking isn’t your thing then just waking up and having coffee watching the sunrise against the Mountain View will sell this little gem by itself.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was incredibly clean and well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, just a short drive to town, yet tucked away enough to feel completely serene. The views were absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain and lake vistas right from the cabin. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. We can't wait to come back!

Overall great place to stay. The road up to it is challenging as is parking, but once there it was a great time. I loved sitting I. The deck watching the clouds settle above the lake and rise to expose the mountains. In the evening the lake views were beatiful.

Stop reading reviews and just book it!
This property is a wonderful and relaxing place! It is more of a "go for the view" than the actual home rental, but that is all I needed. The Positives: * The view is outstanding! * Drive up the mountain was easy in my VW SUV. No AWD needed for summer travel. * Check in was easy thanks to detailed directions and information from the owner. * Plenty of seating options both inside and outside. * Labeled wall switches so you don't have to guess. * Comfy king bed (lower level) and sofas. * Bell Mountain is literally on the road you take up to the cabin. * Close to town but felt like I was a world away. * Did I mention the view is amazing?! The Just Okay: * The hot tub was covered by the deck (always a plus) but felt dated. It got as hot as I wanted and was very relaxing (especially with the view). Most of the jets did not run in the "full power" function and the lights are burnt out. * Clean home but could use a good deep clean. I did not feel grossed out by it and I'm a neat freak. Lots of knick knacks, which I appreciated since it adds to the overall feel of the home. *Showers could use an upgrade, but pressure was fine and plenty hot. * Not all of the sliding doors locked but there was a wooden stick in all of them. It was mostly a comfort issue for me as a solo female traveler the first night, but then I realized how secluded I was up there and it didn't bother me. The Bad: * My stay was too short!

Cozy cabin with lovely view
This cozy cabin worked out pretty well for our family of four plus dog. The owner was awesome and responded very quickly to all questions. pros: -lovely view -nice hot tub -dog friendly -clean -washer/dryer -two living areas -multiple televisions -excellent response time from owner -large deck -air-conditioned (although we did not need it in May) -close to town of Hiawassee -lots of privacy and trees cons: -the yard was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. -the main living area and kitchen are pretty small (but functional) Good to know: -road to cabin was not mini-van friendly; we made it up and down in lowest gear, but it was not fun. The last mile or so is narrow, windy, and very steep. Our Honda CRV handled this much better than the mini van. -TV is YouTube TV (lots of channels available) -internet was good throughout most of the cabin -there is not much space to walk a dog--the road is very steep and narrow, and the yard is very small--but our dog loved walking at the rhododendron garden in town. -good cell reception with Verizon

Just the cabin escape my wife and I were in need of!!
Indescribable mountain views, wood burning fireplace, relaxing and easy to use hot tub....what more could anyone want for a mountain escape. The weather during our stay was mostly rainy and cold but it made it even more enjoyable to soak in the hot tub while staring out at those mountains and then sit by the crackling fireplace taking in the views and changing light. A quiet retreat that we'd return to in a heartbeat!
