"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

"This property was just what we were looking for. The traditional farm house is well-built and well-maintained and the owners' eclectic sense of style was beautifully displayed throughout. The house is outfitted with everything you'll need for a restful and idyllic stay. Be aware that the beds are quite firm and we slept very well. "The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."

The property was very convenient and located in a lovely hamlet close to Woorsatdt, close to and easily accessible from the A61 and A63 Autobahns in a beautiful setting amongst vineyards. Our hostess made us very welcome and she was very helpful as we tried to communicate with very little German and English. There is lots to see and do. We have no hesitation in recommending this property."

Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat während dem Wochenende immer wieder sichergestellt, dass es an nichts fehlt und super Programmtipps für in und um Finthen gegeben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gefunden hätte.
