"We stayed at one of the apartments for 4 nights. The apartment is spacious and clean. It was listed as having cleaning service everyday but we got only towel change one day, a quick vacuum the second day and a bit more cleaning the third day. The beds and pillows are not comfortable. The bathroom can use a bit of renovation and deeper cleaning. The staff are nice and helpful. "Quite frankly, we found Hotel Skivehus very expensive for what you received. Lots of fancies, but not too functional. No body lotion, no bath mat, and what toiletteries that were provided were in individual small bottles, which is a huge waste. Much better to provide everything in large bottles, that can be refilled. Breakfast was good. "This is truly a gemstone - not in terms of fancy- fancy but rather solid, honest 3 Star in a superbly quiet and beautiful atmosphere. Easy walk to the largely unmolested beach, even easier walk to completely unchanged nature at the backdrop. GREAT breakfast! This to me is a bit like time travelling- in a good way! "

"This is a lovely hotel. The views over the north sea are spectacular, and the hotel has been recently renovated and is beautiful. The restaurant was excellent; I strongly recommend that you dine here and make dinner reservations when you book your room (as it can book up). The hotel is close to hiking trails and has fascinating WWII bunkers on the property. We booked a deluxe double room with a terrace and a sea view, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel."

"To call this a hotel is a stretch, its more like a guesthouse. No reception on arrival, even though published as open to 6pm (which says it all!!). Restaurant not open on arrival Sunday evening, which I was awre of, but to be told Monday evening there is only one choice of meal......this is not a Restaurant! Like others, I think this is an over priced 'guesthouse' for what it offers, even the breakfast was very basic for the overall cost. The only positive comment I could make is that there...
