Very disappointing rude staff left me and my children homeless, and took our money and still refused to rent to us. I had been staying there for years. I’m a local business owner here in the high desert and they were quick to judge me by the amount of children I had but we left the place nice and clean and they refuse to take our money and refuse to rent to us. Discrimination is what this is.

I reserved this room for our 10 day vacation through Xmas. When we arrived and checked in they informed us that they were making the switch to best western. We booked as Marriott. Then let us know that the pool area was not in service until renovations were completed (mind you Is the only reason I booked this particular hotel) so my kids didn’t really have anything besides us spending money to keep them entertained. Also I was told it was a pet friendly place and when I checked in I was told no pets or smoking (which also was bad, smelled like cannabis in our floor bad)anyways. Housekeeping staff is amazing. The breakfast was great. One girl at the front desk does not belong anywhere near human beings. But over all. Lived their staff.

This is no longer Springhill Suites by Marriott. This is now a Best Western property. No warning or notice provided by anyone (Expedia or Marriott), just a newly hung “Best Western” tarp/banner over the entrance.

The staff racially profiled me. Kept looking at me like I didn’t belong there. Then SUSAN the manager walked up to me and said I look suspicious and asked my room and name. She didn’t walk up to anyone else and I felt targeted. I was humiliated, embarrassed, emotionally distressed as I was already there for a family funeral. Then the regional manager doesn’t even care he left a voicemail and fully discredited what happened to me. He took her side and basically said the same thing. That since I didn’t walk through the interior that it didn’t seem that I belonged there. This place is horrible, racist and corporate even didn’t do anything. I will be filing a racial discrimination suit.

This hotel is close to a freeway exit but it is quiet. There are fast food choices within walking distance and other food choices and shopping nearby. Room is comfortable with a sitting area separate from the bedroom. Refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave are convenient with a desk handy to put everything on. 2 tvs too. Bathroom is roomy.

The staff was very friendly and they keep the hotel in very good conditions, the only reason why we are giving 4 stars is beca Of the breakfast was very poor. Only plain eggs and pork sausage and it was no hot water and the Apple juice and orange juice was water we let them know
