"My husband, myself and our two dogs had a very one night pleasant stay. We like that we can park directly outside our room which was clean and the bed comfortable. "Stunning little house with French imperial history. Received warmly by the lady at reception who suggested that I park my bike in the quad, even though the town of 2000 inhabitants is very safe. Lovely room, spotless, looks recently renovated. The town itself is also very charming and restaurants and shops are within very close walking distance."

"This is a must. The owners are the best hosts we have come across they made us so welcome, rooms are immaculate large clean and so beautifully decorated and furnished. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be back. An easy 50 minute drive from Calais into the Somme countryside."

"Although we have been to Northern France on numerous occasions this was a first, and it did not disappoint. Large property accommodating our party of 3 adults and 3 children (9-14). Enough bedrooms for all and a well equipped kitchen and a large loungec dine with all the cutlery and glasses you could wish for. In the evening the large dining table doubled up for card and other games. The pool was a clear winner with everyone enjoying the heated pool and the goodweather. we did not feel we had to go out much and took the opportunity to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings and the peaceful location. An added bonus was the homemade games that Francis had made along with the table-tennis, darts and table football, involving the whole family having several tournaments during our stay. As part of our trips to France we do enjoy the local bread and cheeses as well as wine. these became a staple of our stay but supplemented with the barbeque several times. Our hosts were delightful, although our lack of French was evident, but using Google Translate we managed to converse. If you are looking in this area for a gite, then this one is a must."

"We had a great stay in Patrick’s house on arrival,we were welcomed and shown around the house by Justine. The house was lovely, well equipped and with plenty of space for 8 adults and 4 small children. The three bathrooms and two extra toilets also made life easier for all of us.The two kitchens (main and second smaller one) on opposite sides of the house turned out to be extremely useful as we were cooking for adults and children at different times. The garden was lovely a super space for all of us and very safe for the children( aged between 18 months and 5 years). Easy to access local town’s and especially the beautiful sandy beach at St Cecile Plage. We all had a lovely week, thank you Patrick and Justine."
