"This property was much bigger than I expected. It was basically an apartment in a building instead of just a hotel room. It had its own kitchen in a separate room, as well as a bathroom completely separate from the bedroom. All 3 locations had doors to close off from the other areas. The only negative about the property was that although it advertises being soundproof, it is very much not. The building is right on a main road with a train that would pass by about every 5 minutes. "The apartment location is a 15-20 min walk to the center of town. The apartment is comfortable. The value was great as we needed to park and didn't want to spend much on our stay but be close to the center. We didn’t try the breakfast but they have a nice outside patio to eat."

"Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

"Dette overnatningssted hos familien Kempe er så rent og velduftende, at man næsten ikke nænner at forlade det store fine værelse efter morgenmaden. Dejligt med køleskab og alle køkken nødvendigheder. Stort badeværelse med jævnlig rengøring og med nødvendige brugsting. Fin terrasse med nye møbler. "This is a simple pension with a very good restaurant. Breakfasts were quite good but simple. The rooms are bare bones, but if you only need to sleep and shower, it is fine. We visited in August 2022 when the weather was warm (20C), but we do not know how well the room is heated for the winter. "

"The location and size are terrific, but the individual rooms and things like WiFi or access and furniture will depend on the exact building. Our room had a wonderful view but weak Wifi. The bathrooms were very well-maintained, and the shower was very good in regards to temperature and pressure. "Absolutely loved our room with great view on to the Zwinger. Cute little kitchenette and complimentary drinks in the fridge . Mattress could be a bit more comfortable. We definitely will stay there again "

Stay here when in Dresden!!!!

"From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the service was efficient, friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was made up every morning when we had breakfast. The room amenities were excellent land much appreciated😆. There were a free bottle of water, a Nespresso machine and in the lobby fruit juice, water, bonbons and fruit to take as much as you wanted to. I have one complaint and that is that breakfast could be fresher. The croissants and pastries were a bit stale, the sausages were inedibly tough, the scrambled eggs a bit too chewy. It felt as if everything was left over from teo days before. The rooms are quiet, extremely clean, well appointed and spacious. The hotel cannot be better situated - wonderfully near the main tourist attractions."

"Hi. Perfect location close to the train station. I had a great experience during my one-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dresden. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even storing my luggage for a few hours after check-out. Highly recommend!"

Location, location, location!

"This hotel is in the heart of old town. The Christmas markets were just starting to be set up and it was right outside the hotel. The room was large and very comfortable. I booked 2 extra large twins and was surprised with 2 king beds. Privacy was a bit of a factor as I was travelling with a friend. The toilet and the shower had their own little rooms but the shower had no door. Sink and shower wide open. Everything is very walkable from this location. I would definitely stay here again for it’s convenience with the city."
