"I will say that the property setting was amazing, with picturesque views, especially with large windows, you could see the beauty of winter.The check in process was seamless and communication with host was amazing and timely. We were just a bit disappointed that the fireplace was not functional and there were no ping pong table available which were 2 things we were looking forward to. Other than that, we had an amazing time with the family."

"We stayed in the Gallery House this past weekend for two nights and had a fantastic visit. Close enough to the city that bad weather would not have stopped us from getting there, far enough away from the city that it was very quiet and we could hear the ocean waves on the rocks and see all the beautiful stars. "Elias' property is beautiful!! Such a cool part of the HRM. The accomodation had everything we needed. House rules were reasonable and clearly communicated. Lots of amenities nearby, lovely areas for walking. "

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. A few excited moments at dusk when we caught sight of several whales waaaaay out – okay, turned out be distant shoals but what fun! Enjoyed long walks … to...

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "
