Quaint and remote...yet close to it all!
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute! The cabin is cute, clean, comfortable and we loved the extras like the little hot tub (private!). Lots to do within an hour of the cabin. Excellent and we would definitely stay there again!

Great little cabin
We loved staying at this nice little cabin. The pictures were slightly deceiving as far as the inside size of the cabin goes. It was very quaint, but we did like that it was furnished with everything we needed.

Sundance cabin.
The tiny cabin was super comfortable and cute as can be. It was very quiet and relaxing after a day of sight seeing. The hosts were amazing and had all the little thoughtful touches including some snacks. I would highly recommend this property! Thank you Lee and Tracy for a great stay and the cows were a sweet bonus to wake up to in the morning.

Great stay
The owners were super helpful and quick to respond. It was 2 adults and 2 kids in the cabin. I wouldn’t go anymore people than that. Great central location while doing all the Black Hills attractions.

It is a tiny home experience. It was a great area with great host. Had a problem with the grill one night. I let the owners know and they had it replaced by 9 o'clock in the morning the next day. Great property well maintained and fully supplied cabin. Only needed to bring clothes and food. Absolutely an amazing stay. I cant say one bad thing about the property or the owners. Great people.

A good central location
We found this cabin to be a good location to stay when visiting local attractions including Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and The Air and Space Museum. The cabin was as advertised. The small space didn’t bother us as we primarily used it for showers and sleeping. We did use the grill once, but then found the propane tank was empty the second time we wanted to grill. We also found that the microwave didn’t work, but a good toaster and usable stove allowed us to fix the few meals we planned to eat there.

Not stay here again. And did the owner on first day.
Does not match property description in many ways. Please send me an email address and I will forward you a message with all of the issues. Too much to list here.

off the beaten path, peaceful.
Lee & Tracy were wonderful host, had a nice talk when we arrived. Tracy would send a text from time to time to see how we were doing & if we needed any thing. "took way to good care of us". From the welcome sign to the basket of treats in the cabin. Did not expect the treatment they gave us. Would definitely stay here again if & when we come back this way. Thank you...;^)...

Great location, very quiet
Loved our stay here. Property is off the beaten path, so it was very peaceful and quiet. Cabin had everything you need to fix your own meals, which was a plus. We really enjoyed spending our mornings on the deck. Bed was very comfortable. Owners checked in on us a couple times, which was appreciated. Very responsive when we needed something. Will definitely return.

Quaint cabin in a rural setting
I enjoyed my stay in this cozy cabin! It was a nice place to come back to after spending the days hiking in the Badlands and Black Hills. The semi-private, small hot tub on the cabin’s deck was the perfect place to relax in the early evening. The Keurig-style coffee maker came fully stocked with a variety of coffee pods, which made mornings easier. You have to travel down approximately two miles of gravel road to get to the cabin, and the location is fairly remote so the little refrigerator in the cabin made it easy to stock up on essentials. The bunk bed situation (full/queen sized beds at ground and middle level with a twin bed in the loft above) could use improvement, and access to the upper beds is provided by fire-escape style metal ladders. If you’re not a climber, these might be a challenge. The owners do have plans, however, to replace the bunk beds soon with something more accommodating. Tiny-home style cabins like this come with small bathrooms so adjust your expectations. I’m 5’5” with an athletic build and found the shower a bit cramped. If you’re a larger person, you may experience some difficulty. Nevertheless, the owners have done a fantastic job making great use of the limited space in the cabin! The WiFi signal is strong and reliable with high-speed access. I had no problems streaming media and downloading data for my mapping/hiking apps, which is not always the case when staying in rural accommodations. I can’t wait for my next trip back!

Feels Like Home
Immediately upon entering the cabin we were overjoyed by this accommodation. Everywhere you look there was extraordinary attention to detail, from the decor all the way to the labeling of where all provided items were located. The host provided detailed helpful information about the cabin and the surrounding area in the House Manual and even welcomed us with a personalized sign. All items provided in the cabin were included in the stay so it was great to arrive after long airline delays to cold water in the fridge, snacks, and delicious coffee for the morning. The host replied to any inquiries promptly and professionally and I would recommend this cabin to absolutely anyone. We were only there for a few days, but you will have everything you need to easily and comfortably spend a few weeks, which is what we hope to do next time!

Very peaceful cabin on private property
This tiny home/ cabin is great for families that are traveling and wanting to see and do all the stuff nearby. It was close enough to go do all the black hills stuff each day and yet far enough out that we saw wildlife each evening returning to the cabin. They really maximize the space and we just sat outside to enjoy breakfast each morning on the deck. It is very quiet and peaceful and the owners are on-site so available if anything is needed which was nice! They breed Corgi puppies too so my son absolutely loved being able to see the puppies and all the dogs on the property. If you don't mind being a little bit away from custer state park (less than 30 minutes) this is a great rental on private property.

Perfect weekend getaway!
The cabin was perfect for our exploration of the Black Hills. We came here for Thanksgiving weekend and it was great. The area is a bit slower during the off season, which makes for incredible drives around Custer and the surrounding areas. This is a great homebase. We recommend driving the Custer wildlife loop and going straight from there to Wind Cave NP. You're bound to see atleast one thousand bison. Everything is within an hour drive of here, which was great for us since we wanted to explore, east, west, south, and north portions of the Black Hills. Try to catch the sunset at Badlands NP. The Pinnacles view stole our breath away

Tiny means Tiny
Overall happy with the rental. There is absolutely no where to store your gear and clothing. Not sure how sleeping in the bunk beds would work, it was just my wife and I, but it doesn't look easy. A little dangerous maybe? The deck steps are not what you might say standard and it gets a little dicey especially at night. Be careful in the driveway, the grade is a bit steep in places and maneuvering at night can also be a challenge, bring a flash light. I would not recommend for elderly or anyone with mobility issues. There are dogs in the immediate area and they have a yapping fest during the daylight hours but the didn't bark at night. But if your young with a couple of kids maybe, this place would be fine but just remember, no storage inside for anything substantial. We laid our clothes out on the second bunk along with cell phones and such. Left the suit cases in the car. We slept sideways on the bottom bunk so we could both get out, you'll see. The bunks are against the wall so it was much easier. The people were very nice and accommodating.
