Hermosa House
Perfect house for our family of 8-grandparents, parents, and grandkids. Plenty of room, clean, well appointed. The house is within easy proximity to Keystone, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer SP and the two National Parks. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Black Hills Family Getaway
Our family had the perfect vacation in this spacious lovely home! Great location to all the things we wanted to do, clean and well stocked. Nice quite area, the kids loved watching the deer which were there every day.

The property was centrally located for all of the activities we wanted to take in. There was ample space for outside games. Very accommodating for eight adults and eight grandchildren. I would recommend this cabin for anyone vacationing in the Black Hills!

Beautiful cabin!
We loved our stay! The cabin is gorgeous and very well cared for. The surrounding area was also beautiful. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck. The only drawback was that to get anywhere or to any of the sites, it was a drive. But that's just typical of the Black Hills. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Family Friendly!
This home was perfect for our family! Not knowing what to expect, we brought too much. This kitchen had everything we needed, including a high chair! The cousins were well entertained with the ninja slack line, swing and large yard. The adults enjoyed the spacious deck and my mom was right at home watering the beautiful flowers! I would highly recommend this home for your Black Hills Vacation.

6 adults and 3 children 4 and under
We chose this house because we wanted three bathrooms and enough space for an active toddler and preschooler. We were not disappointed. The location is close to the kid centered activities we were interested in. Reptiles Garden, Storybook Island, Mount Rushmore and Sylvan Lake. We did have a couple of longer drives but they were well tolerated by the children. There was a wonderful swing on the property and a slack line my 4 year old granddaughter thought was fun. We had a problem with the water pressure that was resolved within 30 minutes of seeking help. As this was a family vacation and our grandchildren are young we did not do much hiking. Although we did make it around Sylvan lake. On the way home my husband and I drove Needles highway and also went through the Badlands. May is a wonderful time to visit the area.

Dream getaway.
We could not have asked for a better experience. The "cabin" was as advertised and more. The setting was beautiful and very private. Access to area attractions was good. The attention to details such as decorating, supplies, cleanliness etc was outstanding. We(which included a 2 year old, a 67 year old and everything in between) would highly recommend this home. we would like to go back in the near future.

The home and its grounds were lovely and welcoming. We easily spent as much time outside as inside. There were so many activities for all ages and interests. It was great to be there for 4 nights and we had a great family gathering. The only negatives were just 3 bathrooms for 16 people and the loft sleeping area was pretty warm for sleeping in July. Everything else was very enjoyable - especially coffee on the wrap around porch in the early mornings!

Family reunion
We were celebrating a family reunion with 17 of us enjoying the beautiful lodge! There was plenty of room for hanging out together or individually. The wrap around porch was wonderful. As we enjoyed our coffee and watched the deer and wild turkeys graze by. The lodge is centrally located to the many local attractions, and we found that everyone from age 5 to 75 found our time well spent visiting the buffalo at Custer State Park, the bears at Bear Country, and watching the alligator show at Reptile Gardens! We were quite pleased that the lodge was well stocked with condiments and cooking essentials so we could have most of our meals together at the lodge thus saving a lot of the expense of eating out! In all we had a wonderful time together with plenty of space for our four families.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. 12 of us gathered (11 adults and 1 child ranging from age 7 to 83) from the states of Washington, Minnesota and New York. The lodge was as advertised, very spacious, clean and well stocked. The lower level was cold, but everyone survived. It was centrally located to the attractions we wanted to see. We had beautiful weather. Ate breakfast and supper at the house. Enjoyed late afternoons &/or early evenings on the spacious deck, visiting, playing games and watching the deer and turkeys. We even enjoyed a couple visits from the owner. We would highly recommend this home, especially to large groups. Many thanks!!! Connie D
