Modern well appointed cosy self contained little cottage that accommodates two adults. Seperate bedroom, bathroom with large corner spa bath and overhead shower. Comfortable lounge with fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a midweek break.

You can relax and unwind in a beautiful garden setting. Our cottage is close to all the facilities and attractions of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. Located in a quiet area with on site parking.

All linen supplied. coffee, tea, sugar and milk, toaster, electric jug, full oven, microwave and fridge, iron and ironing board, TV, DVD/CD Player, reverse cycle heating/air conditioning, heated towel rail, electric blankets, hairdryer, crockery, cutlery etc. Everything you need for a home away from home.

Please don't hesitate to talk to us about your individual requirements, we are more than happy to assist.

We aim to keep our cottages reasonably priced so that you can treat yourselves to other desirable activities such as enjoying excellent local produce, unwinding with a therapeutic massage, visiting local wineries and shopping at all the quirky and unusual shops in town. Spoil yourselves as you no doubt deserve it.

Perfect weekend getaway
My partner and I absolutely loved our time here. A beautiful, warm and cozy cottage that was a only a short drive 5 minute drive into Daylesford. Michele was a lovely host, extremely helpful, thoughtful and kind. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a quiet, comfortable time away

Forget Me Not Alkira cottage was perfect for our weekend away, very clean, presents very well, well appointed kitchen and bathroom, good shady guest parking, lovely quiet location convenient for drives and walks nearby. Michele is a great host, good communication, very helpful.

Just Divine.
We had the bet stay at Forget Me Not Garden Cottages. The cottage was comfortable, had everything we needed, was super clean and there were such wonderful touches left by Michele. The gardens are magnificent. It all made for a wonderful long weekend stay. Thank You!

Best place to stay in Hepburn Springs
I loved my time at Michele's property. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It was a beautiful place to stay so relaxing. Michele makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The garden is beautiful with all types of birds, fountains and little pathways to explore, and the horse and goats next door come over to say hello. Comfy bed, lovely spa bath and spotless inside and out. It was so peaceful and beautiful it will be my go to place from now on for a delightful holiday.

Great affordable weekend getaway
We were looking for a short weekend getaway in the Daylesford Hepburn Springs area. So many of the properties were so expensive. Michele stated on her ad that she had made her property more affordable to encourage people to come the the region and support local business. It was a lovely idea and it helped us make the decision to book the property. It was a well located property and it allowed us to indeed support local businesses (great food, lots of day spa options). The property was lovely. We are pretty low-needs and the property has everything you would need. Michele provided coffee, muesli and even freshly laid eggs! Michele made the booking process easy and friendly, she even gave us early check in and late check out. We would definitely stay again.

Beautifully presented, extremely comfortable cottage. Everything we could have hoped for.
Our romantic weekend escape to Daylesford was perfect! Michele's Sunshine Red mud brick cottage is beautifully positioned in a very private location down a meandering, well-lit brick path to the rear of a lovely garden. We arrived on a cold Winter's afternoon and, on opening the front door, we were greeted by a beautifully warm, lamp-lit room with modern fittings, but loads of character. There were chocolates thoughtfully placed on the bed and cut firewood on the hearth to keep our wood heater lit all night. Later that night the huge spa was a welcome way to relax with a glass or two of local wine. The pillow top bed with an electric blanket ensured a comfy night's sleep. With plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, we wanted for nothing. Highly recommended!!

Perfect little cottage getaway
The cottage was lovely and great value. It was clean and all the linens and essentials were provided! We didn’t end up cooking besides some toast or yoghurts for breakfast but the essentials were there if you did want to cook. The spa bath was used a few times too - a bonus that I didn’t know I needed! Michele was excellent to communicate with and provided a great list of things to do and places to eat around the area. She also had left us some little treats which was a beautiful little touch! Nothing to do with the house but my advice if you’re visiting mid - week, as we did, is to check what restaurants are open before you go and to make bookings. We found lots of things were closed during the week or we’re booked out (we did come just after Easter/busy time). We still managed to get in to a different restaurant every night though. Thanks for a wonderful stay Michele!

A Great little place to stay
This was a great little place to stay in a quite street. Close to the Hot Springs. The spa was very relaxing after walking around some of the tracks. Will stay again.

Great little cottage
This cottage has everything you need for a quite weekend away. The back deck overlooking the beautiful garden was just delightful. Loved the spa bath and the fireplace :)
