"As I pulled into the driveway, a herd of deer were grazing in the expansive pasture surrounded by woods. The neighbors were not nearby, however, the morning walkers were friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking needs and I cannot think of any reason to complain. Sleeping through the night and waking to piece and quite. The hostess was very gracious and non intrusive. She communicated as is necessary and helpful as well. My commute into work and grocery was 10...

"Convenient to Rocky Mount and Ferrum. Check in was seem less, clean, comfortable and I enjoyed having the Keurig pods available."

"Lori and David were amazing hosts! They were super friendly and had a really nice place! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. They had a keurig with coffee and even brought fresh eggs from their free range chickens. The porch was an absolutely amazing place to sit and relax whether at night or early morning. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking at this place. "

"The place is very clean! A bit chilly when we 1st got in but that was resolved pretty easily. Overall all we had a nice time! Place is conveniently located close to Fairy Stone State Park which was nice. "

"great place for a quiet, peaceful, SCENIC, commune with nature, type get a way. There are things to do close by, winery, hiking, just off Blueridge Parkway scenic drive, downtown Floyd (approx 8 mi drive if I recall correctly). Fresh OJ and milk in frig and firewood where a nice touch"

"Four sisters from Montana, Houston, Atlanta and Floyd - and we enjoyed a long weekend with the leaves changing, fun in Floyd and driving the Blue Ridge Pkwy! The property was gorgeous and we had had plenty of room! The sunrises in the back were picture perfect- the kitchen was well outfitted, spotless! We hope to return! "

"This is a wonderful home with charm and functionality combined, along with a fantastic location on Main St Floyd :) We were within walking distance to a convenience store and a short walk to downtown, all via sidewalks! We enjoyed tge back yard with a fire pit, perfect for watching the fireflies at night. Highly recommend, a perfect stay. Thank you!"

"Completely renovated and beautifully decorated. 7 minute from Floyd, 10 minites from Chateau Morissette. Modern, well equipped kitchen. Very comfy beds. Furniture is high end and very comfortable. It is much larger than the pictures show. Quiet location out of town with a side deck and front porch. As an owner of resort property, we were impressed with the numerous little touches that make your stay more comfortable...Keurig pods, a nice selection of teas, creamers, a Brita filter in the fridge....

"We were in town for a show at The Coves at Smith Mountain Lake. The venue was only 18 minutes from the cottage. It was SUPER clean and very nice. The outdoor space was also excellent. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions. Beds were very comply and there was a nice tv in every room (in both bedrooms) Would absolutely stay here again!! "
