"We loved the location and the unique nature of the property. It felt like we were in the middle of a jungle and back to nature with only noise being birds chirping. The beach was one of the cleanest and best we have seen. Staff were very courteous and helpful and able to deal with any enquiry. Breakfast was excellent but generally bar and food prices were high. "It is an average resort. The water quality is not so good. They do not serve bottled water. The pool has a very high level of chlorine. Also, they don't accept cards, and they will take money cash for a lot of stuff, not giving a bill saying that the computer is down. So please insist for a bill everytime. "High end hotel for Havelock, no wifi in the rooms, wake up call at 0810 (not pre booked) for breakfast. Pasta salad at Dinner wasnt pasta salad but pasta with vegetables in white sauce with cheese. Air con switched off at certain times, reception staff not welcoming. Kitchen staff/ front of house very good. Cleanliness excellent. "

"Very bad experience! All rooms smelly, water leaking into the rooms, no clean towels, bathroom wires were open. Worst experience i ever had in my life. I booked for 2 days but i checked out on first day only because of these hell of experience. So requested refund for my 2nd day."

Havelock stay, started low but ended high

"We had booked in another property at Havelock Island and were extremely dissapointed. We managed to get a chalet at Sea Shell Havelock last room available. As soon as we arrived at the property extremely welcoming staff especially front office manager Ms. Khushboo. She ensured our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Property is well maintained and clean. Would like to specially thank Ms. Khushboo for accomodating a late check out request. We tasted wonderful food at both restaurants Bonova and White Lotus. The staff are extremely kind and pleasant. Also would like to thank Mr. Anuj for a pleasant stay. Thank you to the entire staff at Sea Shell Havelock. You are all doing a great job."
