"This is my way to urge anyone planning a stay at casino resort hotel in and around the Memphis area to absolutely make this one the choice, you will be so glad you did. They have a very large staff and every member was so friendly, comforting, knowledgeable of the facilities, and all were smiling happy to be there to help with your stay. "Great hotel. We stay there whenever we visit Memphis. The best thing about this hotel is its location in the heart of downtown Memphis, walking distance from the Fed Ex Forum, the Orpheum Theater, and Beale Street. Also, if you're catching an Amtrak from Memphis, the hotel is the Amtrak station too. The worst part of the hotel is that the bar has a DJ who plays dance music WAY too loud in a room where there is no dance floor or dancing, so the people gathered for a drink can barely hear one...

"Our stay at “Cottage in the Woods” was wonderful!! We hope to always book “The Cottage” when heading to Memphis. The hosts were wonderful and responsive in every way. It was great to be kinda like out in the country but able to get into Memphis in less than 30 minutes! The Cottage was clean, roomy and, comfortable. There are TWO wonderful covered porches - each with several chairs AND a swing!!! It is surrounded by fields making it seem you are out in the country!! The beds are comfortable,...
