Very cozy and clean. Great location to stay if you are a Mountain Biker. My only complaint is the steps need to have a non skid applied. I slipped down pretty bad in the rain.

Lovely private cabin with all you need
Great comfy place situated in the woods in easy driving proximity to Brevard and Hendersonville. Nice front porch for morning coffee, and quiet, private setting. Clean, modern, well-equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful
We stayed there for one night and it was wonderful! The whole house was clean and the furniture was comfortable. It was small but a perfect size for four adults and one toddler. We loved the porch, view and distance from the cities.

Phenomenal stay! The proximity to Hendersonville and Brevard was very convenient. The location was ideal for our interests, biking and hiking. I can't say enough about the quality of the cabin. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we needed! Definitely planning a return visit.

Family Getaway
This was the perfect cottage for our family of 4 (2 month old and 2 yr old). We loved playing in the big bath tub, appreciated the kitchen supplies including coffee available, and loved having a washer/dryer accessible. Nearby DuPont forest where we hiked and appreciated the waterfalls. Looking forward to staying again.

The cabin was perfect for our week long stay. It is located immediately next to the entrance to Dupont state forest and 15 minutes away from the entrance to Pisgah national forest.

Awesome place to stay near everything!
So close to all the places we wanted to see! All the falls , food and sites. We even came upon a really big and beautiful apple farm called Jeter Mountain. The little house is roomier than the photos imply. Clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully! We will return.

Wonderful cabin, has everything you need for a great stay in the mountains. Very close close to the trails and waterfalls, and an easy drive to town. Very clean, love the covered front porch. I would rent it again!

Nice little cabin up on the mountain
My husband and I stayed here for a night and enjoyed our stay. The front porch was our favorite part because it was so peaceful drinking coffee and listening to the wildlife! The cabin was very clean and cozy. You do have to do some additional steps for cleaning before you check out but we didn’t mind!

Beautiful tiny home located as close as you can get to DuPont State Forest. Great communication with the host, and was better than the pictures indicate. A++++ for cleanliness. Only suggestion is to follow the directions provided by the host, my GPS took us to another address.

Made the trip a breeze
We loved staying in this cottage. We had everything we needed, period. Besides food of course. Wi Fi worked, tv worked, dvd worked and easy enough to figure out. The washer/dryer are set back in a corner so don't take up space, are quiet, and were so nice to have since it was raining when we were there. Lots of storage space so you can actually unpack. Very clean. New construction. LOVED IT!

A good stay
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the location, super convenient to hiking and just a peaceful place to getaway! The kids books and dishes were a plus. Upon arrival the cabin was 53 degrees which was unexpected. Thankfully the wall heater helped to heat it up fairly quickly. We also noticed the vent in the bathroom needs to be cleaned (very dusty). There aren’t ceiling fans in the bedrooms and there also isn’t a dishwasher. Lastly, the extended check-out cleaning process was a little surprising and challenging for us with young kids. We did overall have a good stay here but I’m not positive we would stay again just based on our family and our preferences.

A very unpleasant experience. Overall, a good location and a cute cabin, but extremely unsatisfactory communication. The property owner charged additional $50 immediately after check out because “we didn’t do laundry and make up beds.” When we tried to call her to clarify the fee, she didn’t answer. Instead she sent a bunch of accusing text messages, making us feel very unsafe. She accused me in not selecting a full cleaning fee (although this option didn’t not exist on Expedia) and not honoring a Vrbo agreement (which I didn’t sign or read). She also mentioned about deleting the review (so other customers won’t see it) because she can do so. Again, a very worrisome experience, and I don’t recommend staying at this cabin.

So much about this rating is unfair but I can't honestly give the cottage a higher rating. On the day of our departure all the smoke detector alarms (3) went off at 5:30 AM. Needless to say we were scared. After searching the cottage and the surrounding area, we could find no sign of a fire. However, we also were unable to turn off the alarms even though we removed the batteries. As a result, we had to scramble to get our things together and leave. We still had to put clean sheets on the bed and start laundering the ones we used along with the towels. We also had to wash the dishes all the while the alarms were screaming. We were drove to an area where there was cell service, we called the owner and left a message. He texted us and we called again to make sure not to let someone stay there until the problem was resolved. He said he would change the batteries. What caused the problem, we don't know but for all the alarm batteries to have gone bad at the same time seems improbable. Anyway, although it is really a lovely cottage we just wouldn't feel safe staying there. And no, there was no refund offered.

Enjoyed our stay in the practically new, well appointed and not overdone home. Spent the evening on the porch. Shower had good water pressure and spray pattern and the bed was firm but comfortable. I would stay again.

Cozy Getaway Cottage Near Brevard and H’ville
This cabin was so cute, clean and comfortable and smelled great! My friend and I especially enjoyed sitting in the porch swing having our evening wine. It’s close to both Brevard and Hendersonville and feels remote while it’s just up the hill from a highway. The kitchen is just the right size and a coffeemaker and K Cups were provided as well as linens and towels! A perfect place for a weekend or week long mountain getaway!
