Custom mountainside home - year round Mountain View - Convenient location

October 2024 Update: the house has power, water and WiFi internet. All the local roads and shops are open and ready for you!

Beautiful views from a thoroughly cleaned and well maintained house!

Enjoy this 3BR/3BA fully equipped house on a private 3.5 acre mountainside lot. The house has exquisite year round long range mountain views of 8 mountain ranges, including Mt Pisgah.

The main floor of the house includes the master bedroom and bathroom, the 2nd bedroom and adjacent full bath, large fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a large table and 6 chairs and a large living room with wood burning fireplace and 65" TV. A new leather sofa and armchair was updated in the summer of 2019.

The lower level of the house includes the 3rd bedroom and adjacent full bathroom and another large living room with a gas stove and 60" TV. Brand new leather sofa and loveseat is in the lower level living room. The included 2 car garage is on this level as well. The lower level living room includes a pull out sofa for 2 additional guests.

All 3 bedrooms have queen sized beds. The master bedroom and 3rd bedroom have long range mountain views.

There is a patio area with a propane fire pit that takes advantage of the spectacular views of the mountains - it’s a great place to wind down after an exciting day exploring all the area has to offer

We are just west of Historic Downtown Hendersonville, located at the end of a paved road, with homes nearby but out of view. Our home is very private, located on the side of a mountain, surrounded by thick rhododendron and mountain laurel.

Pisgah View is comfortably furnished and well-appointed ~ including lush 100% cotton linens and towels, fully functioning upscale kitchen, wood-burning fireplace on the main upper level and gas log stove in the lower level. There are TVs with full streaming channels through Hulu Live with Blu-ray/DVD players, secure full mesh Wifi that is rated at 300Mb/sec. If you have a Netflix or other streaming service account, you can access them through the smart TV or attached Roku devices

The home is cleaned with friendly non-toxic cleaning agents. Our cleaning protocols follow CDC guidelines and include sanitizing all commonly touched surfaces.

For your convenience we supply all the paper goods that you need for your stay here at our home. Paper towels, coffee filters, napkins, toilet paper, tissues, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the supplies you need like, cloth dish towels, crock pot, toaster, 3 different sizes of coffee makers, a waffle maker, blender, mixer, and etc.

You may drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit Pisgah National Forest, The Grove Park Inn, DuPont Triple Falls, Historic Main Streets, Carl Sandburg Home, The Biltmore House during the day ... and have a home cooked meal while watching the sunset from many windows and of course, the porch.

Nothing negative to say. Clean house with great views. Nice kitchen for cooking and plenty of room. Paved driveway, close to Brevard and downtown Hendersonville. Access to garage was an awesome bonus as we were mountain biking and it gave us a place to store our bikes and supplies.

Perfect location
We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! It was off the beaten trail just enough, but within close enough distance to breweries and restaurants. We walked to the Kellogg Trails which were perfect for 4 elementary aged children. The house was a great setup for two families. We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely house with gorgeous views!
This house more than lived up to its description! It is spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The views from the main floor, looking out toward Mt. Pisgah and Cold Mountain, are spectacular and change throughout the day along with the sunlight. We wish we could have had more time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, but we did manage to have a fire in the living room's fireplace one night. I look forward to staying there again!

Great landing spot for mountain getaway
We really enjoyed our weekend here. The house itself is very comfortable and has a great view from the main (upper) level porch across the front of the house. The main living room is spacious with comfortable seating for 5-6 people and a great view. The kitchen is also large and very usable. Location is very convenient (less than 15 mins to downtown Hendersonville and approx 30 minutes to downtown Asheville). The owner was very responsive and gracious about accommodating a last-minute change that we needed to make.

We stayed in this wonderful house for 3 weeks in August and enjoyed the entire time while we were there. The deck which surrounds the house provided a comfortable and private environment for viewing the mountain ranges which were beautiful at all times but especially breathtaking as the sun was going down in the evening. The house was very spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted. Having the third bedroom,bath and living room on the lower level gave a private area for those staying with us. Gorgeous Home and Gorgeous View - A Must See and Stay!!
Our family planned a last minute long weekend trip to the mountains and instantly fell in love with this mountain home. Super clean and all the amenities you need for a cozy, home away from home vacation. The views are spectacular from bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Brian was super-friendly and accommodating (the home-made brownies were a HIT with the kids!) We will be back for sure next year. One recommendation that would make this a perfect stay is a hot tub. I even know where you should put it :))) (to the right of the home on the grass ledge area overlooking the mountains). I would easily pay more to stay if there were a hot tub. Thanks again Brian for one of our very best VRBO homes to date!

This was my first Vrbo booking. I could not be more impressed with the home. When I emailed them they said all we needed to bring was our clothes. They were right. They provided most anything you could want for a great relaxing stay. Beautiful wood floors, bathrooms with shampoo, body wash, conditioner in the showers, kitchen with any small appliance you may want and the views were spectacular . You were in a development, but did not feel like it with trees surrounding the home. Wrap around deck. Provided a garage for cars. Would definitely stay again if I was going back to this area. Not a long commute to Asheville. Thank you for a great stay with my family.

Immaculate amenities, stunning view and a pleasant surprise!
While sitting in the magnificent Grand room with the A-frame ceiling and windows I noticed over the stone fireplace a poster of a white squirrel then I noticed little white squirrel statues placed on the mantel and I started wondering, what's that about? Well, low and behold while taking a nice stroll around the neighborhood what did I see? A white squirrel, and then I spotted another and another! What a pleasant surprise! We had a wonderful time and the place was spotless and the view was fantastic. can't wait to come back. Jim R
